Took a while too order as we couldn't make up our minds. Ordered our drinks but the wrong water was delivered. Managed to catch attention of a different waitress who apologised and bought out the correct order. When the food was delivered portions look large but that is down to the way it was plated. The smoked bbq food had a good smoke but the ribs were cooked too quickly so they were not tender and did not come off the bone cleanly. Also had a t bone which also was not tender. I would go as far as saying that too cut it had too apply so much pressure too cut through, I now have a blister on my finger. Again another piece of meet that did not come off the bone clean at any point. To finish the meal we had the milkshakes that were huge and looked good. Taste was good but prefer them to be a thick shake. As an attempt at being a bbq and grill they are ok, just need to cook the meat so it is tender.

Nice décor inside, knowledgeable staff, and the food was pretty good too. We shared the BBQ meat plate, and whilst it was not bad, the coleslaw was too wet and the brisket was too dry - but overall a good 'American' effort... would recommend you get a 'bathroom' sign, rather than toilets :-)

Definitely a place to go if the weather is nice so you can make the most of the garden and outdoor bar. Only drawback is it's a little far from anywhere else, so if you're hoping to make a night of it you have a longish walk ahead of you or expect to get a taxi....or (ohmygod) someone can't drink!!

On arrival the place was very cheesy, with dubious film memorabelia covering every surface. The waitress was nice, but tried to seat us in a small dark table in an awkward corner, despite it being a sunny day and the place being empty. We opted to move by the window. The room was hot and had that 'old people's home' smell so we asked the waitress to open the door. She did, then informed us that the regular menu wasn't being served and it was Sunday roast only. One of our party was vegetarian, and this wasn't ideal. Fortunately they did make her a large starter to have as a main course. As for the food itself the roast was poor, the meat was tough and the gravy very salty, it seemed to be Bisto or similar. No one eat much. We ducked out of deserts and made a quick exit, pausing only to marvel at the awfulness of the 'Hollywood' themed garden (again more cheesy film stuff). Coming from London I think we are spoiled for choice, and this place wouldn't last two minutes in a more competitive environment. We won't be returning.
