I used a couple of different services that had issues being on time- meaning he lost time getting dialysis. I finally found FLORIDA MEDICAL TRANSPORT and it was the end of those nightmares. They are truly Professional in all aspects - from discussion of transport needs, changes in transport needs, and getting him to/from dialysis to nursing home. Efficient, ON TIME, attentive - hubby had an episode of extremely low blood pressure and passed out, and they immediately got him to the E/R. Wow. The office staff was/is very well educated on transport needs and so helpful thru this whole experience.

I received a couple of quotes from some other companies but TransMedCare had the best rate and honestly the best representative of the companies I spoke with. Andrew was quick to respond, follow up and put me at ease that our mom was going to be well taken care of on the ride. They were on time, professional but yet I felt very caring and sympathetic to what my sisters and I were going through. She arrived safe and sound and if anyone ever thought about needing this type of service I would hope they would hire TransMedCare. I am not one to write reviews but this company deserves 5 stars hands down. You take your chances on hiring a service like this but hopefully good reviews will put others at ease and you hire the best!!!

I had a terrible experience traveling in a very bumpy van that promised my mother a captain chair…read morefor the ride from New York to Florida but instead they put us in hard chair and no seatbelts. I was not allowed to stretch as it made my disability more intolerable. It cost me about $8,000 out of pocket and it was not worth that amount. The captain chair was promised to us and they kept it for their naps. The TV kept freezing and they were speeding through the states til we got to our destination which our heads kept hitting the top.

I recently had back surgery at the Lake Monroe Hospital. My experience was nothing but…read moreexceptional. From the pre OP appointment to surgery and then overnight recovery I was so impressed. It was clean and efficient and all the staff was super friendly. The Orthopedic wing is only open Monday-Thursday and they limit it to 6-8 patients. There is always two staff on duty so it is almost one on one care. They treated me exceptionally well, were compassionate and checked in on me regularly. My TV was not working and the nursing tech went out of her way to figure out the problem and then swap out the remote controller. The food at this hospital is outstanding. On my last day I had a filet mignon steak, roasted vegetables with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on them, mashed potatoes with gravy and carrot cake. All of my meals were exceptional. I would highly recommend this hospital.

IMHO, the entire "Case Management Team" should be FIRED, IMMEDIATELY! They literally dumped me on…read morethe sidewalk after a major operation. They NEVER provided the promised walker, or any post-operative care. They don't answer their phone--EVER! They repeatedly LIED to me about the availability of recuperative equipment. This is a shame, as the rest of the hospital staff were SUPERB!
