I got all my stripes sewn on today and the place was great, really cheap, really fast, and good quality work, much better than on base. I would, and have, recommended this place to all my friends. I have never had a problem with the owner, he doesn't speak great English but he is extremely nice, and they can do great alterations from what I have seen, because all my friends go there. I got my blue top and bottom altered plus my skirt and my ABU top and bottom all for 30 dollars. I went today and I forgot something at the store,I went back and my cloth were already done. There fast but make sure you bring cash is cash only. They do everything for you. And oh yeah they alter my shirt for my service blue but made it to a princess cut I didn't even have to go buy one they make it for you. I walked in to this establishment last minute to get a dress altered. They finished it in three days and charged a reasonable amount. The seams are perfect and they fit very well! I will for sure be a return customer. Very friendly and fast service 10/10. read more

Stay away from this place! Was referred to this place from the cleaners, so I called to see how much a small alteration for pants would be, and they told me around $10. Come back to pick up the pants and she says the total is $37.44. The entire receipt was written in Chinese, and she could not speak any English, not even enough to explain why the piece had gone up so much. All she did was repeat the total, and then changed the total to $37.88. Extremely unprofessional and rude! Never going back. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

I took in two uniform shirts for my sons to simply have three buttons replaced and to discuss another. Something worth noting is the fact that the people here speak little to no English. That being said,... If you have anything to explain... Much gets lost in translation. I tried endlessly to explain that I needed a zipper repaired on another garment. She wanted to charge me $30 for work that I did not need. So long story short I left and went to Hobby lobby and ended up repairing it myself for just a few dollars. Also they ONLY EXCEPT CASH. When I gathered up cash to return and pick up my garments for $8.66... She kept asking me for change when I handed her nine dollars. She had given me $.35 in change and kept insisting I give her change now. After several minutes of trying to wade through the language barrier... She huffed and puffed and just walked off to the back of the store. Confused... I waited just a moment or two longer and exited the store with my garments. And for the record one of the buttons had a lot of thread hanging off of it like it had been hastily completed by a child. I don't believe I will be returning. read more

Worst tailoring business in town. I figured I would have learned not to go back after tailoring a a set of military blues pants too short and had to purchase new ones to get retailored, but I gave them a second chance only to be disappointed. Took 5 pairs of business slacks to be altered with a cuff at the botton of each pair. I told the lady 3 times I wanted them cuffed at the bottom she said she understood. When i picked the pants up they were all straight legged, not one them were cuffed. I paid over $600.00 for the pants. The onwer would only pay $200.00 and not a penny more. I lost over $400.00 for the pants and $55.00 for the messed up alterations and a lot of time and effort finding these pants to match my dress coats. Stay far away from this business. read more

I don't even know where to begin with this business. The woman who works here does not speak or understand English, yet if you speak to her or give directives as to what you want done, she pretends to understand. When there was an issue with both of my garments that were dropped off, it took phone calls to different translators at 30-45 minutes each time, and a total of 2.5 weeks to "resolve". The only reason it is "resolved" is because my time is worth more than this issue was actually taking, and I'm done dealing with this company who cheats their customers. Not to mention they only deal in cash, so there is probably something not quite legal going on in their books. I strongly recommend finding a different tailor for alterations. read more

I was totally pleased with JJ's. I had 4 pair of work coveralls I needed hemmed up, a large rip in one of them, and pockets with holes in them. She charged $60 for everything and I was pleased as punch. These are FR and cost about $175 per pair so I thought she was reasonable. I will certainly go back there if I need any more work done! read more
