On a referral, we checked out Be Green, mostly because of the fact they use more environmentally-friendly materials to treat lawns. Years later, our yard looks great. I've only interacted with the people who come out to our house a few times since usually they come during the day, but everybody has been friendly. Moreover, their treatments clearly have worked. Most years we've also done the all natural mosquito treatment too and that seems to make a big difference. In fact, one year we opted not to do it to save money and regretted it. I have been a loyal customer of Poblocki Paving for years. I few years ago (2024) I had them…read moreresurface my driveway. After about six months the asphalt starting peeling. I call them and spoke with Jill and talked to her about it and she said "yes, they had other people this had happened to and they are working on it". At the same time I was having my home insulated by USA Insulation and their their truck spilled chemicals over my newly done driveway. So I had two problems with the same driveway. USA Insulation agreed to pay for their portion of the damage in multiple stages if necessary regardless of the price. Poblocki drafted a letter which was signed by USA Insulation and Pobocki promising to supervise the redoing of the driveway. I called numerous times trying to get some idea when this was going to get resolved and heard nothing. Finally I received a call from Jill telling me that Poblocki was selling the business and she would get back to me after everything was settled. Jill called last March telling me that they are now ready to proceed and as soon as two of her people have returned to Milwaukee they would be out to evaluate the current condition and they would move forward. I would not have to be home to meet with them. In April their crew was here for four hours power washing the driveway. I assumed they were preparing it for the work to be done. Since then I heard nothing. Last week I call Poblock and was told that Jill quit her job and that they would get back to me. I explained everything, again. I have heard nothing and am fearful that my next step is to hire an attorney to pursue them which is unfortunate since they have a financial commitment from USA Insulation and the only balance would have to come from them to cover the defective asphalt they applied which caused the problem. So anyone thinking Poblocki Paving whose reputation was always "the best" is going to stand behind their name and service needs to think twice before hiring them. It has been a dreadful situation for any homeowner to struggle through. They just don't care. I attempted to upload photos of the damaged driveway but had difficulty. I will keep trying.
