We hired Christie to take our wedding photos back at the end of December 2012. We live a good distance away from South Lake Tahoe so it was great that we found out about Christie online. These were some of the positive takeaways: 1) The few months leading up to the wedding, Christie was always available to receive calls or emails regarding any questions or concerns. She was patient and calm, which helped ease our nerves leading up to the entire event. Another thing to add in, our wedding was three days after Christmas, so she was willing to take time out of her holiday season to accommodate us. 2) She was calm, friendly, receptive to our ideas, and yet was extremely professional with her approach. We thought she was organized and experienced enough to direct the photo session with relative ease. Not only that, but we had our photos taken out in the snow so she had to put up with our crazy request in that type of element. She came prepared and picked out amazing locations for us to have our dream photos taken. 3) The price was fair for the quality and quantity of photos we received. In my opinion, she did a really fine job and gave us a really good price. In our research, most of her contemporaries charge exorbitant prices that made us a little wary. We'd be willing to do business with her again just based on her fairness. Overall, we thought that Christie did a great job with our wedding photos. We're pleased to have beautiful photos that we can keep for the rest of our lives. I'd highly recommend Christie to anyone who desires fantastic wedding shots. read more

Christie (the photographer) from JLM Creative Photography is amazing! She is truly talented and can capture any moments for you and your family in unique, creative and beautiful ways. I used her most recently for a newborn session. As a new mom, I appreciate that I had the choice of getting newborn pictures taken in my home or in her studio. I was very worried at first that we would not get any pictures since he was crying a lot during the session & had to eat several times. Christie was very patient and had some great ideas on how to get him to sleep. The pictures turned out amazing! She captured our little angel during the first week & I couldn't be happier since babies change so fast! Christie is an exceptional photographer! I just had a boudoir photo session with her through a groupon deal. While I have had no prior experience with photo shoots of any kind, she made me feel at ease. She listened to my preferences and guided me into the right poses for the look I was going for. She really has an eye for contemporary boudoir style. Her studio is beautiful, tasteful, and homelike. She has a wide variety of props and jewelry available. She also understands the privacy needed for this type of photography and will not post your photos online like many other boudoir photographers do. Christie/JLM Creative did our engagement, wedding, and day after photos and she is BEYOND amazing. She is so wonderful to work with and really makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My fiance and I were both a little camera shy and she ended up turning us into models :) I barely even noticed her and Noel (the second photographer) on the wedding day. They do such a great job at capturing all the events without constantly being in your face. The quality is amazing, she is fast and super creative. I had a boudoir photo shoot with Christie. She was extremely professional and took all of my ideas into consideration along with her own twist on them.
