They're tennis players first but have come into the world of PB somewhat lol! ( There's one other guy there that strings rackets that hasn't as of yet, but he's super nice too :-) ). We've been helped by Aaron, Jason and Brent and no complaints at all about their service. Their prices for PB stuff are very reasonable, yes there's Amazon but let's support local businesses, but in all honesty, their prices are very comparable to what you can get online and on Amazon. I've been telling my friends who are just getting into PB like us, to come here. We've purchased paddles, balls and a Head PB net. We also bought a Solinco ball holder and was given a nice discount on it but we ended up retuning it ( still in the box ) and we had no problems with the return. Reason for the return is we're gonna use something else to hold our balls. They have pickle ball shoes too so its definitely a one stop place to get everything you need if your'e stating to play Pickle Ball! They also have demo pickle ball paddles that you can rent for $5 (3 days), I believe you can rent up to four paddles at a time. The money you spent on the demo can use towards the purchase of a paddle within 30 days. (Providing they have it available) I try to buy one paddle at the end of demo, they do not have it in stock. The staff is friendly helpful. Also, the money you spent will turn into points and you can spent it like money towards your purchase. Recommend.

I was in Waikiki for 5 days on a family vacation, but wanted to try and get some hitting in during…read moreour stay. Reached out to Albert (text is the best method) and arranged for 2 sessions on Tues/Thurs. He was able to accommodate very early start times (7am) so that I could be done before the family woke up. I'm a decent player (4.5 level) and really just wanted a good hit as opposed to lessons. As we were hitting I could tell Albert was a really high level player so I ended up asking him for some tips. He was more than willing to follow my lead and do what I wanted during the hitting session so we worked a bit on my forehand during the first session, and then on other strokes such as volleys, backhand, and serve on the 2nd. I've been playing tennis since I was 10 and had years and years of lessons. Was good enough to be offered some scholarships out of high school and have been rated as high as 5.0 as an adult. Regardless, Albert had some great pointers for all aspects of my game, which I found very helpful especially on my forehand, which I have been trying to "modernize" for some time. He was definitely able to teach this old dog some new tricks. He has a very good teaching demeanor, and was a super friendly guy that was fun to talk to and even better to hit with. He kept the hitting at a comfortable pace and didn't try to show off or hit winners all over the place to prove how good he was. He even gave me free overgrip when I asked him if there was a local tennis shop because I wanted to buy some tourna grip. Very reasonable rate as well. I would highly recommend him for lessons and/or hitting sessions in general. I'll definitely be contacting him again when we return to the islands. Thanks Albert!!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I thought he was a good person as he showed…read more I paid him 10-session classes and paid 600$ to him! However, he ghosted and scammed me after 5 sessions. No response or even no cancelation. He did not refund the money as much as I asked him either....He was online on his Instagram however he did not respond or even show up and he disappeared. I can see here all good reviews are from his wife and his friends... Be aware and don't trust him! I will report him to the court and will take action not to do such things to other people!!!!

Waialae Iki V Tennis Courts is located at the top of Waialae Iki right after the guard shack…read more The four beautifully maintained courts and recreation room are private and for the use of Waialae Iki V residents only. You either have to be invited by a resident to play or to enjoy the facilities located on top of the mountain. Beautiful scenic views can be seen from here, along with cool gusty breezes. I was fortunate to play here many times and it always takes my breath away.

Attended an event for Epilepsy Awareness at the Kailua Racquet Club…read more The venue has many parking stalls and is a Kailua oasis in my opinion. Has a cozy area where we all painted for Epilepsy. There is a cute furry cat that wanders the pretty grounds. There are skilled players on the court that can keep the ball in play for a while. The pool looked inviting. The clubhouse had good vibes and the members were pleasant to the Epilepsy function. The coordinators were prepared and will take part in another event in November if I am in Hawaii.
