We also used the loo...not me but one of my associates. I will testify that the coffee bar was fully stocked, clean, and the coffee was piping hot! Ingles in Rockmart is horrible. Employees are treated horribly (I have never worked there, only…read moreobserved). What has me concerned is that they have employees working food service when they're sick. It's unacceptable. My sandwich was being made this nice young man and I noticed he kept coughing and sniffling. I asked if he was okay and another employee said that he had been diagnosed with the flu and was still forced to work. I took my sandwich, of course and paid for it, it was not the man's fault. But I wasn't even able to eat it after knowing that. I honestly lost my appetite. The boys coworker said they have even had to work the DELI with COVID. I asked a different lady who the manager was and she said that she was not there at the time but her name was Brenda. Even federal guidelines say that sick individuals with contagious diseases should not be working while contagious. Two days later I got the flu. All because of Ingles. These people are being punished because of trying to be responsible. That is completely unfair to the employees and a danger to the public.
