Once inside, we checked in and were told to go to room 7 for a VIP event for the first hour. There was a lovely charcuterie board which we munched on and an open bar in the back of the small conference room. The main event, with nearly 300 attendees, was in the main conference center. The set up was nice, although the pole in front of my table was in the way of the podium on the stage. But when folks were in the middle of the stage I could see them. Dinner was buffet style, with two lines outside the conference room. Dinner was delicious and included salad, chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes and peach cobbler. The bathroom was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. I was able to find free street parking behind the conference center. Overall the venue was nice and I would be happy to attend events here in the future.

He's 10, but we've been to several mlb and minor league ballparks together, even were on Wrigley Field field for batting practice and autographs this spring. The park has affordable tickets, memorabilia, food, and drinks. Staff is friendly. Clean bathrooms. The ballpark design is unique and has a beautiful backdrop. I may be biased, full disclose, I did attend and graduate from Ohio University. I love Peden…read moreStadium! The openness of the stadium. The hill overlooking the river past the South endzone. The sturdiness and beauty of the bricks. The many entrances. The cannon in the North endzone. The band intermingled in the student section. Ohio University has a beautiful campus and Peden Stadium is a great compliment. Again, I did mention my bias, the restrooms do have lots of room for improvement and the lines for the concession stand could be improved. I'm going to focus on the positive. There is not a bad seat in the house! Athens and the Bobcats know how to put on a show. Rufus coming leading the football team out on a Harley is a great bonus! As I believe in supporting local, I also believe in supporting small, supporting the little guy. If you have not been to an event at Peden Stadium splurge the $12 give or take a little and get there. You will have an amazing time. Remember, I warned you about the restrooms, and I'm holding out that someday they renovate them all!
