But this wasn't my main issue of course it play a big part but the issue was the lady working was probably one of the rudest people I have ever met just because of her alone I will never recommend anyone to go to this place or to ever spend another dime there again. There was zero reason for her to be so rude and disrespectful when all we was trying to figure out was what happen and why her party wasn't when it was confirmed to be at.

The playground has a great look and a lot of fun options, incorporating the banks along the Scioto River, which flows on the other side. Slides and ziplines utilize the slope and the boardwalk along the top. A variety of climbing features round out the area, and the nearby pollinators garden adds a real pop of color during these warmer months. The river and a nearby wetland make for some nice views and great places to see wildlife along the trails, as well as opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.

Even if it's not personal, it FEELS personal. 3.) The driving range is very small / short, hence it is irons only. 4.) The facility has that "1980's country club" feel, where most of the people seem snobby & stuck-up, despite the fact it is in "Hicktown, Ohio." This place is EXCEEDINGLY FORTUNATE there are no other ranges/course combination within 30 miles.

Of course, if you like using the equipment and you don't mind working out in a dungeon, it's tolerable, but pack a flashlight cause it's dark in there. No morning news, they did away with the televisions. Bring your own entertainment. No mirrors. There was only one lady there when I went, plus two teenagers huddled in a corner in the back. I still felt like I was right on top of everyone, as it's very close quarters. One piece of equipment is sitting right beside the next piece, closer than any gym I have ever been to. If you go to the side the equipment used to be on, you will find a bright, open space with windows and weights. If you think you can roll out your mat and do some pilates, you'll be fine, if you like being on display. The room is sparsely furnished with weights or equipment. The staff is still friendly and no doubt it's fine for children, but if you are an older adult, find somewhere else. I did.

Had no idea this was here, and I've been visiting Chilly for 55 years. Of course, it wasn't a park…read moretill a few years ago, turns out; it was a farm. Large earthwork cluster, barely visible due to plowing but mowed so that they stand out now. Nice big park with decent parking, several trails, woods and wildflowers, and more. I can't hike like I used to but there is a fairly short trail from the parking lot to the main earthworks. If you are a history buff, or interested in Native culture, or just like nature and knowing about your town, this is a must-see. Chillicothe is full of history, recent and ancient, and it's cool to see more things like this being opened to the public.

This is the biggest rally in the United States. Yeah, that's not saying much, but it is big and…read moregrowing. This year there were 30 or 40 competitors. I've always liked watching rallies on TV, and figured it looks like the most fun form of racing to actually do. I mean, who hasn't taken their car out on a back road and thrown it around... I mean, I imagine. These folks do it in modified street cars, on dirt roads, in this case in southern Ohio. I had been meaning to come since I first heard about it, and finally made it for a day. Next time I will go for several. The events started in Chillicothe on Thursday, continued in Portsmouth on Friday, and started in McArthur Saturday before heading back to Chilly for the finish and a party. The volunteers kept things well-organized and safe. Several spectator points were set up along the routes, and of course you could check out the cars and meet the drivers at the starting and ending points. If you like racing at all, or even just driving for fun, this is well worth attending. Bring water, comfortable shoes, maybe a chair, sunscreen, bugspray, etc. You're out in the woods or the sun all day. Prepare yourself to cheer and laugh. And think about putting a rollcage in your car and trying it yourself...
