I went to Joanns about a week ago and bought yarn that was on sale for $3.99 a skein. After talking to my sister who I am making a poncho for , it was not the correct color. I went in to do an even up exchange. They would not allow me to exchange. The guy who was the cashier said I couldn't. I had to pay the extra money to swap out because the price had gone up! It's northern Minnesota! Have you ever tried to shop for art supplies with your hat, mittens, large purse and a long coat? Would it make sense that you put items on the counter so you do not have to carry them around? Don't try that at Joanne fabrics in Hibbing.... The cashier gave me a large bag and told me to put my items in the bag and insisted I carry it with me at all times. When I said I wanted to just leave it at the counter as I was picking up pans, she said I did not have to purchase items in her store. I guess she is right.
