It's the kind of place that makes me wish I was a real artist! Markers, paint, pens, paper, canvas, stamps, crafts, and more! They also have a good selection of little gifts and trinkets, which makes this a great place to shop for small birthday presents for your artsy friend. The staff are super helpful and welcoming and kind. Sure, everything is a little more expensive here than at a big box store, but they have high quality product, and you're supporting local art!!

The candles are more than likely either locally made or you are in fact, supporting a non-corporate spot so you will pay a bit ore for several things. Sure, you can take your butt to Target and buy a birthday card for $3.99 or you can come here and spend $6 for a REALLY awesome and unique card. I guess it's all about perspective. The staff is simply okay here. Never a warm feeling like other stores on Mass but I do stop in about once a month.

Currently, the City is extending the Streetcar line, so there is a lot of construction barriers and road plates to overcome. The cute store has a nice private parking lot with 2 entry points. The employees are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products. I was inquiring about leather paints for shoes. The clerk was provided awesome service making sure I understood the paint and all the needs to clean it up. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything. They offered individual paints or sets for this particular type of paint. They had a selection of "specialty" colors that are made in small batches and a little more exclusive than the regular. Their open stock pens are glorious!!! Whether you are looking for an inexpensive Flair pen or Sharpie, or a more spendy Copic, you can choose from many different brands, and price points. They have canvases, and lots of blank bags, pouches, tshirts and other items that you can alter to share your art! They have numerous types of clay, molding clay, pottery clay, fine art medium and even novice kits. It's like a magical place when you step inside where color is everywhere and so much for your eyes to feast upon! Fred and Gretchen own it, and Cathy helps them run it. Between the three of them, they always make you feel like you are part of their family even if its your first time arriving there. I have never been at a yarn store where no matter how busy they are, they are THIS nice about winding your yarn that you bought... even when they are super busy! I could spend days in this store. And the prices? It looks expensive but there is actually so much for lower price points. Gretchen does an amazing job with the place. She is a true artist herself.
