I went to this store yesterday to find some fabric. I asked a lady in that area named Linda for help and she replied that if I didn't see what you were looking for on the floor they don't have it. She never helped guide me to the right area to look. That is not helpful. I looked around the store and it looked and felt unorganized and dirty. This is not the Joann Store that I am used to. This location just never seems put together. There are better area stores to go to. This one is a mess. read more

The onky thing this store is good at is making you wait. They are always severely understaffed. You will wait to get fabric cut. You will wait to check out. You will wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Then another employee will come to the understaffed department or checkout area - and they will start mindlessly punching away on a computer.... FAR TOO BUSY to help the pile of customers anxiously waiting to GTFO of the store. Other staff are too busy stocking something to be bothered with your measly question. If you manage to get someone's attention, get ready to swim in attitude. I'm here now. Waiting wand waiting wand waiting wand waiting. To get a half yard of fabric. Jesse is cutting fabric and he seems nice. Another lady keeps coming over and avoiding contact with the crowd, and types something into the computer, then walks away. HELP A MAN OUT! Good grief. I was here a few nights ago for the same fabric. 1 lady in front of me and I waiting for 17 minutes before I put my fabric back and left. I'm going on 12 minutes now. Weird experience. I'm not sure if this is some "Bonanza Sale" where this is expected but there was STUFF everywhere, huge carts of fabric bolts all in the aisles and blocking shopping traffic in infinite possibilities! You had to push things out of the way to get anywhere or see anything and the two women working the cutting desk were anything but cool. They tried but it was pretty clear they weren't happy in their own right and were bickering with each other. I haven't ever experienced a Joanns like that before but I'm not sure I'd try it again at this location. Having said all that, the sale was pretty good. read more

This was the second of two Jo-Ann stores we visited in our quest to find or make a needlework bag for my grandmother. The associates in this store were head and shoulders above the other location we visited the day before. We found some fabric that we liked and went to get in line for cutting, it wasn't a long wait. Stopped at the sewing machine store by the cutting table and the lady there was very informative. Found out that the only thing universal about sewing machines are needles. Needles fit all machines, but everything else is unique to make and models. I have a rather old Viking machine so it was nice to find out some odds and ends about it. We gathered a few things and got in line for a register. This was probably the best part of the trip. She grabbed my cell phone and started downloading apps for other stores. They take competitors coupons. By the time it was all over and all discounts and coupons had been applied, we wound up saving about 80 bucks. I was floored and will return to this store because of that alone. Normally if a place takes others coupons they don't go out of their way to tell you or help you find them online to use. I was a little in awe that this crafty old lady just grabbed my smart phone and started to download things. I still haven't gotten used to that phone and she had no problems with it! read more

WARNING: If you order online you need to order EVERY SINGLE ITEM individually. If you want 100 things, place 100 orders. If they only have 99 they will cancel your ENTIRE ORDER. In my case they will also send you an email saying part of your order is ready, so come pick it up. Then another email saying which 1 item they didn't have. Then when you drive all the way down there they will tell you they CANCELED YOUR ENTIRE ORDER because one item couldn't be fulfilled. I called in to try and get the rest of my order since I was sitting outside the store and the manager (Nicki) said I could place another order and try my luck again. I asked if she could bring it out now if I placed it she said no, she was short staffed and they had 2 hours to fulfill online orders. Wait outside two hours or do it yourself. That's right. The manager, whose job it is to staff the store properly, blamed it on being short staffed and refused to do it herself. I didn't go in because my mother is immunocompromised because she's undergoing chemotherapy. I wanted yarn to knit her a blanket. JOANN fabrics in Littleton is failing miserably at handling the pandemic. They're in way over their heads. read more

The customer service here is pretty bad. I went in for a return and the woman was rude and unhelpful. I corrected them on the amount I should have received in a return (they shorted me a dollar) and she just said "No." The manager who was helping with the return realized her mistake and gave me the correct amount but neither apologized for the mistake. This is normally my favorite craft store but if I continue to get treated poorly I will shop elsewhere. read more

I really like the craft stuff in this store, especially the wood aisles. I tend to think of this place as a fabric store, but they really have everything you need. Lines were long on the random weekday I hit it up and sounds like it is worse on the weekends. I do like their selection, so I will be back. read more

On a quest for a unique print fleece fabric to make blankets for gifts, I was extremely underwhelmed by this store. As others have mentioned, the line was rather long and staff was nonexistent except at checkout. What made the experience worse was the total chaotic mess of the fabric area. Boxes and boxes of fabric up and down several main aisles made it close to impossible to get a cart through. A lot of fabric was stored very high up and would obviously require assistance but staff were nowhere in sight. While this location did have more variety of fabric over say Hobby Lobby or Walmart, the prices were also several dollars more on most of the fabrics. Ended up waiting in line too long for wrapping paper and sprinkles, I probably should have just walked out. And didn't end up purchasing any fleece after all due to inflated prices and lack of selection to my liking. read more

This location used to be fantastic, but things have gotten pretty awful over the last few years. I come here because it's close to my home and work, and because coupons are great. I make an effort to come in during slow times to avoid the chaos. It's pretty much always chaos now, though, and that's unfortunate. A HUGE portion of the staff walked out several months ago because of how bad things were. They are still trying to replace those people and are consistently short-staffed. The employees are always leaving late, for lunch or the end of their shift, and are thus constantly in really bad moods. I've witnessed a cut counter worker shouting at someone's child for having his elbows on the counter (no warning, just started shouting right away.) The line does often stretch halfway through the store, as only one or two cashiers are working at a time and aren't trained well on the registers. The cut counter lines are ridiculous and you should take a number before you start shopping (if you know what you're getting, otherwise wait). The employees get huffy and just walk away from the counter if they're late to lunch and someone hasn't come to replace them, leaving one person to take care of a queue of 20+ customers who need fabric cut. Things might improve, but it's not likely. I'm going to start taking more of my business to Colorado Fabrics despite the fact that they are farther away, since their prices on discount fabric are fantastic, fabric quality is better, and customer service is better than it is at Jo-Ann's. read more

Joanns as a whole is a fine establishment. This location in Littleton CO just is poorly managed. Customer service is not their priority. They will have 2 or more people in the registers but at the cutting tables one person. Often the least trained employee. The last 3 times I was in this store this happened. Today at Saturday 6 days before Christmas they did it again. I spent 40 minutes waiting for fabric cutting with no end in site. So I took it upon myself to cut my own fabric hoping when it was my turn they could just give me the receipt I needed for the register. Well apparently I timed it when the cutters supervisor showed up and saw what I had done and through me out of the store. I went to my regular Joanns across town and was in and out in 20 minutes so I know it can be done. They were just as busy as the one I am complaining about. read more

If so go here. I have gone to this Joann's a couple of times, mainly because its close to the house of one of my crafting friends. I greatly dislike this location and after the last incident when I had to deal with out right rudeness I will not be back. They are larger than other Joann Fabrics but its not worth it. Just go the extra distance to the Joann's on Gartrel Road they are much nicer and everything is clean and organized. Also the managers and staff at Gartrell are nice and try to help you get a great deal verses these people who will try to scare you away read more

I love Joanns! I come here all the time to get my various crafts needs. Today I had a bad experience though and it made me never want to come back :/. I was standing by the fabric cutting area and the workers were slut shaming me. They thought they were talking quietly but they were quite loud. They were saying my outfit was slutty and that they would never dress like that or let their daughters look like me. Then saying how I will never be able to rush for a sorority. I feel very attacked by these women. I noticed one of their names was Mary. I am a very frequent customer here but I have to say I will never return and I will start going to Michaels or other places like that. Extremely disappointed. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Nothing says, "Christmas" like bumping elbows and fighting over fabric with old women (yeah, I said it... I have no problem fighting over a bolt of princess fabric with the elderly). I like Jo-Ann's because of the great coupon deals. I can make a quilt for $20 if I use the right coupons. They also have a great fabric, frame and craft selection. Here you have a different breed of Jo-Ann stores, the SUPERstore!! For most of us, this means two things: custom framing, and CU, their Creative University, where you or your kids can sign up for any number of classes ranging from sewing to knitting, and from cake decorating to scrapbooking. It's a nice location, just a step below Denver Fabrics in terms of selection and quality, and just as far away, but cheaper. OK, they have everything when it comes to fabrics, but dealing with the employees is depressing. Here are two experiences I have had: Bought some burlap with my wife for a curtain project. Not a lot of burlap, about a yard or two. Had to go to the cutting table. Took a number, waited. Not long. Waiting it like playing Russian Roulette. You never know who you are going to get. As you watch the women cutting the fabric, you listen in a little. You hope the more cheerful person will finish first and call your number. Of course this does not happen. You get the lady that is having the worst day. But it is just fabric, you are having a good day, so you start out with a cheerful greeting. In response you get, 'Burlap, I wish someone had not made that popular again." Oh, ok, I am the bad guy now because I chose something you SELL. Oh my, I am sorry, exactly what products am I allowed to buy without offending you. No, I don't say any of this. I simply say. "Oh, you are allergic"?, when this is confirmed, I am hopeful she will let another cutter do the job. I even somewhat suggest this, but no, that is not going to happen. I again attempt to be cordial and friendly, nope not having it. So we quietly wait for the few yards to be cut and go on our merry way. Checking out is always a joy as well. Especially if you get the lady who appears to be the manager. It is the Holiday Season mind you and I am in the store early this time, before the rush. "Good Morning"!, you would think I had just run over her dog or something (boy I hope she does not have a dog). I hear grumbling about how they are open early, then after my greeting a 'Bah Humbug'. Yes, she actually said that and meant it. Wow. OK, keep your head down, pay the lady and get out before you are trapped with the Grinch. If there was anyplace that carried what this plays does, I would never go here again. Yes, Walmart is pretty good, but sometimes they just don't have what we want. read more

Avoid this store unless you have a minimum of one hour to spend. The line for the cutting table is usually 20 -45 minutes on the weekend and the line to check out is another 30 minutes. This store is short staffed every minute of every day and the situation compounds itself when it's busy. I won't be shopping here anymore. This store has a large selection of fabrics and a good selection of crafting materials, but I've had to leave on multiple occasions without purchasing anything because the lines at the fabric counter and the checkout lane were so long and moving so slowly. Visited this store today and was trying to buy fabric as curtains to block off a space. I needed some help to figure out how much I would be needing and how much it would be. I had gone to Nancy and she was very helpful in showing me where I should look and how much I needed. When I finally went back to get my fabric cut I had gone to another one of the ladies because Nancy was already with a customer. The other woman was very unkind and impatient and did not want to help me find out my measurements so she told me to go back to Nancy. So I went to Nancy's counter and she was very kind and patient and did not mind giving me her time. I admired her customer service and would definitely come back to this location. As for the other woman.. I think she needs to work on her attitude. read more

Probably the biggest one I've been too. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't find anybody to help my mom when she needed help. We ended up just leaving since nobody could be found to help us. I come here because it's close to my work but I'm not sure why I keep torturing myself. The staff practically ignores you and when they are talking, they are not particularly friendly. As I get closer and closer to my wedding I find a need more crafty stuff. On this particular day we were on the hunt for the perfect affordable papers for my invitations. We had visited all the competition and finally made our way to Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store. WOW!!! Their paper selection was outstanding and very affordable. They also had a really stellar selection of tools and tricks that we were able to buy for our invitations! The prices were fantastic, the store was bright and clean and the paper selection blew my mind. We ended up buying all of the paper we needed here as well as a decorative punch to create a beautiful accent in the invites. To top it off my future mother in law had a coupon so we spent less than $15 on all this great stuff! I am a fan! read more

I was thinking they would have a huge selection of stretchy head band fabric but nope....I could only find 4 that were stretchy. Drove 32 miles because they had an item listed as in-stock. When I got to the store I was told by a manager that they haven't "cleared out the system" and the item was out of stock. Apparently the 5 stores closer to my house had "cleared" out their system. Very unprofessional retailer. Store was unorganized and messy. Came in here with my girlfriend to buy interfacing for a backpack. However, she wasn't sure what specific type she needed, so we asked the lady at the fabric counter if she was busy. In response she did not even look up and responded "yes I am busy" and continued with whatever it was she was doing. So instead, we went to find someone else to talk to. We approached a different lady who seemed to just be walking around and asked her for help and told her that the other woman who we asked for help said she was busy and this worker had an annoyed look as she said "well I guess you'll just have to wait until she's finished." Walked around for 15 minutes to find someone else and after receiving no help from anyone in the store we just decided to leave. Some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. I like this fabric store, it is big enough to have everything I need. I have taken classes here and was impressed with the instructors. I use their app for coupons, (very idiot proof, Yay!). I come in here frequently so I know my way around and that helps if I am in a hurry. If you are in a hurry do not go from 11:30-1:30, very busy. I know hobby lobby is much cheaper, but it is further away from me and with the coupons it comes out about the same. read more
