If I could leave zero stars I would. The Washington store is the worst store in all of Joann stores. My most recent interaction with its rude employees was about the icing on the cake. It took close to over 15 min to get a pick up delivery when I arrived. I called and was put on hold twice, then was disconnected when I finally got thru the woman tried to put me on hold again. I explained I went thru the pick up process let the app know I arrived and then it prompted me to call. She was upset that I was doing a curbside pick up and had to bring it to the curb when she walked out she was yelling at me that inside customers take precedence. She threw my order at me as she huffed off. I cant wait until Hobby Lobby opens. read more

Joann is one of those places I only go when I need something last minute like Gutermann thread or interfacing. Having lived in places with stellar independent fabric stores like the Bay Area and Los Angeles, having Joann as the only non-quilting-centric fabric store in town is extremely disappointing. Selection and quality are lacking, and they jack up the prices on their subpar fabric to offset their "sales". If I'm going to put the effort of sewing something I stick to higher end fabric brands like Télio, something which Joann will never carry. read more

I am planning a 50th anniversary party for my in-laws and found a great arrangement at Joann's. The problem was the store I was looking in didn't have enough in stock (fairly large purchase). They directed me to the store in Washington, Utah. I called the store and asked if I could purchase the item over the phone and pick it up the next day. They said no, to go online and order it and pick it up at the store. So, I went online, the store said they had what I needed. I placed the order online and planned to drive an hour to get my order the next day. Within 30 minutes my order had been canceled. I thought that was very odd, so I went back online and placed my order again. The next day my order was again canceled. I drove down to Washington so I could go inside the store and get the items I needed. They had none on the shelves. I asked a store associate if they could help me find the items that the website said they had. The associate explained to me that they had received a truck the night before and they hadn't had a chance to unload it and they could look for me and call me back later in the day. (I asked why they couldn't keep my online order pending until they finished looking instead of canceling my order?!) After 6 hours, I needed to drive the hour up the freeway home. I hadn't received a call so I stopped back in. The same associate told me they still hadn't unloaded the truck and that I would just need to go online. Now I have wasted 2 days messing around with this nonsense and need to select express shipping. It will cost $35 when I could just get the items IN THE STORE! JOANN'S...THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Please train your employees in the Washington location to actually help customers. And start stocking the Cedar City store with enough items - Cedar City is growing! Extremely disappointed in the lack of follow through and clear disregard in helping customers. read more

I have been in Washington Utah for 1 year. I finally found my first A#% Hole in the fabric department. An older heavy short hair gray woman. She was very rude to me. I don't think she likes her job or people. I had my own business for ten years. If I had an employee that acts like her, I would have fired her. There are other choices for supplies. I will be going elsewhere to give them my business. read more

Absolutely sick of the game of coupons vs. already discounted items. Do one or the other! Patrons are confused, employees are sick of dealing with it, and I watched and waited in line today behind one woman who walked out mad leaving a $66 order behind and another in front of me take up an employee's time by returning a bunch of craft papers that weren't on sale only to re-check it all back in for the discount. The line behind me waiting to check out was clear down into the aisles of the store and they weren't happy, including me! Corporate needs to figure this out and stop wasting everyone's time! I will figure out another way to avoid JoAnn's. read more

I went in looking for rhinestones and they didn't have hardly anything in the 8mm size. The iron on ones weren't what I wanted. I found one that I liked but then I realized they didn't sell the backings for them. Why would you sell the rhinestone but not the backing? Asked a lady for help. And she said if there isn't a place for them, then they don't have any and probably won't get any in. So I left! read more

Tonight when I went in to get fabric they had a bunch of younger little girls with attitudes and a guy too. NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. They obviously must not like their jobs when they act like that. Customers should be treated with a smile and respect. WE PAY THEIR SALARY. read more

Three associates near the cutting counter, only one cutting fabric for waiting customers. The other two just look at you and keep on stocking shelves. It was the same at checkout, 5-6 in line and only one cashier. Really JoAnn? I guess customers don't come first. read more

If you have a coupon for 50% off a single cut fabric not on sale, beware. It wasn't until they cut the fabric that they said it was on sale (not as good as my coupon), there was no sign on the shelf or anything. Then when I went to check out, they wouldn't let me use my coupon because they said the fabric was already on sale. They also said that a lot of customers were having the same issue and that's how the CEO manages things. WOW How deceiving. read more
