At first I thought this was good, until the woman on the phone suggested that I apply for a "cashier position." I'm assuming she never read (or even had the time) to read my resume because she would see that I have a bachelors degree related to Human Resources and that I currently work in an administrative position. The woman on the phone was speaking over me the entire time, asked if I wanted to meet the next day, I told her it was too soon so I would be happy to meet next week. The way she spoke was almost hysterical and hard to understand. I asked if this was a formal interview and didn't get a direct response. I was told that I would be "tested" but no further details. I agreed to meet next week, and days before the interview I sent an email and requested, very nicely, some more information regarding this "meeting". I never received a response, so the morning before the meeting I sent out yet another email saying that I will be not attending since I never received any details of the "meeting". She responded within minutes to say "sorry for the inconvenience" and that "the position has already been filled". Were they planning on telling me that once I've wasted my time and showed up for this "meeting"? Completely unprofessional. Sketchy. Don't waste your time applying like I did.

Ellen the Supervisor was extremely rude to me and hung up in my ear, knowing her staff told me I had a second chance at the work place. And knowing they messed up on their end making it sound like I didn't need to work on Saturdays, and then telling me if was mandatory to work on saturdays!!!! The only reason they are working on helping me find more work, is because they know they did wrong and need more clients to make more money!!!! But, they no longer call me like they used to. And now making me wait until next month for work, ignoring my requests for other job positions. IF YOU COULD AVOID THIS PLACE, IT WOULD BE BEST FOR YOU!!!! XD

Starting with the branch manager Pete, who acts like he's doing the biggest favor just for existing. and being able to offer you a job that pays minimum wage, most times they're not even sure what it is you'll be doing on any specific job, and don't send you out with the proper safety equipment. Fact: Labor Ready employees get injured on the job at a much higher average than the national norms, due to lack of safety training or for that matter ANY training. Also Labor Ready has a habit of misclassifying jobs so it does not have to pay the correct disability payments to the states they are operating in. Having to get to the branch at 5:30, and wait hours before getting sent out, and not getting paid for it, and also having to pay a driver $6.00 per person to get to certain jobs. At a particular job, I was told that I was supposed to receive a higher rate, when I went back to the branch, I was told that they're client was wrong, and I wouldn't receive the higher rate, as a result of me complaining about it, I found myself barred from using this service, or should i say disservice. I know I'm not alone here there are plenty of people out there who have been treated the same way I have or worse.SPEAK UP people, contact the Dept of Labor or Labor Ready Corporate located in Tacoma, Wash. List a post on any number of sites including this one. Don't take it sitting down, you DESERVE better!

Which they dont want to lose. Their client breached the Contracts their client drew up. Spicer Gas never completed the work on time or at all, didn't use with the correct equipment/materiel, did not follow building codes, did not follow laws, they admitted to their failures in their own work notes, emails, text messages, etc. Their workers were never vetted for my job (admitted in emails). Caused damages (admitted in work notes/text/emails). Violated Permitting laws - starting work without Permits. They claim they are EXEMPT TO LAWS/CONTRACTS. You are not exempt from written contracts. They have slandered, defamed, bullied, discriminated, harassed, trespassed, threatened, violated my civil rights, violated my freedom of speech, violated my privacy, etc. Because its all about silencing me. Now they are threating to sue me for defamation of their character???? THE TRUTH AND FACTS ARE NOT DEFAMATION. BAIT and SWITCH - its all about OLD MONEY.

This is a typical dishonest law office that scams small business contractors into giving them an…read moreestimate for "emergency repairs" stringing them along and saying "yes lets do it and to start the work today". We started the process to pull the permits and went to get materials to then have them put a stop to the work after a full day wasted of our time and not pay for our time. Claiming they didn't agree to anything. We had ordered all material, was having it delivered next day and got a 5pm phone call to stop the work. We do not have the ability to do free estimates as we are a small company. They knew that and agreed to it and still to this day they refuse to pay for the time we wasted from September of 2019. We went as far as sending them to collections and they still refuse to pay. Very dishonest law firm and I know who I am not calling if I ever need one. Beware to contractors they are a company that does not pay their bills.
