These patients sing praises about Forte, from the doctors to the nurses to the efficient people at the front desk. From a visitor's point of view, Forte is great. They are very straightforward with their instructions, which I appreciate. Just tell me what to do and what to expect, and I'll do it and expect it. Everything went pretty much according to what they said. They have a smoothly running system here. Visitors can help themselves to the unlimited coffee and water at the coffee and water station. This is where the Little Free Library is located! The waiting room also has multiple seating arrangements, from high-top desks to comfy chairs to love seats. Or, if you need something to eat or drink, there's a cafe on the first floor. (See my separate review for La Verna Cafe.) The waiting room is airy and bright. One thing that's kinda weird is that a "cruise director" comes and talks about what to expect with your surgery ... right in the waiting room, among all those random people. That seems unusual, right? However, there are private rooms that you're taken to when the time comes to talk about your particular case with the doctor. As a visitor who is not a patient, Forte is great. But I've been told that it's also great being a patient here, so there's that.

The young lady at the front desk was very nice, professional and helpful. After filling out the paperwork I was called inside by a nurse that got my vitals. The nurse was very nice, she asked the questions needed of me. She was professional and kind and took her time getting my details as I had many. She never rushed which is a def plus. Shortly after she was done the PA I was scheduled to see came in, we discussed the issues I was having, she was knowledgeable about things that many doctors I encountered in the past did not know, so I was impressed. She took her time listening to me and informing me of my options. I went there very anxious because I had been in pain for weeks and did not know what to expect. All of the staff I encountered were wonderful and I had a very positive experience. I even got a call from them the next day to let me know that they had contacted my insurance about an issue and gave me an update so I can get my medication. I really appreciated that. Very impressed and very thankful to everyone there. A note to future patients, especially the ones inclined to leave 1 star reviews, be nice to the people taking care of you, they are people and being nice to your healthcare workers will make them not only do their job to their best but go above and beyond to be helpful to you too. I know this for a fact because I have been sick half of my life. God bless, and thanks again

Since the new place was absorbed by APC it has been a miserable and PAINFUL experience. She has been without a needed medication for almost 3 weeks while fighting a potentially life threatening infection. Have called the number at least 50 times and get sent to voicemail, never a return call. They actually answered yesterday and said the medication would be ready by end of day, it was not and still isn't. Went to the office last week about this issue and couldn't speak to anyone besides the front desk due to "policy". This is incompetence, medical negligence, and mal-practice. Will be contacting the states attorney and a personal one for action. This "consortium" acts and feels like a complete scam with no regard for patients.

The subpar service left a huge scar and they actually charged for things that they didn't even do-probably to make the bill higher. I had a consultation in the fall with Dr. Van Natta for a "mommy makeover". He came highly recommended by one friend who I trust. I knew that it was going to be between him and Dr. Turkle (who is across the street) when I began this journey. According to Dr. Van Natta's website the average cost of a mommy makeover was $12,300-ish. When I got to my consultation, the staff was very friendly. Very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. When we finally got to the part where I spoke to Dr. Van Natta, I thought he had a great plan in place. I was really looking forward to the upcoming surgery that I had pre-planned and scheduled due to coming from out of state (I grew up in indiana and was familiar). The only thing that threw me off about his character was that he spent about 10 minutes lecturing me about Covid vaccines and his opinion about them (I'm a nurse, and am familiar). However, it wasn't necessarily a dealbreaker. The problem came when it was time to sit down and discuss the financial aspect. The first page that she went over said that the procedure would be $12,700. Right around the price the website said. But then we flipped to the second page. There was another $6000 (approximately) in fees. It included the anesthesia, facility cost, garments, etc. Talk about sticker shock! I thought that that should've been something the website should have disclosed. I mean, that's a breast augmentation at most places. Total cost for the mommy makeover was going to be just under $20,000. We are talking Los Angeles pricing in Carmel, Indiana. Trust me, I had done my research prior to my appointment. I started to think about just doing the tummy tuck only, which they told me the total cost would be $12,700 ish. Again, astronomical prices for the location. A few months later I had a consultation with Dr. Turkle across the street. I am very familiar with her work and have several friends that have been to her so I felt very comfortable knowing that she would do a great job as well. Total cost for a mommy makeover was just over $13,000 at her facility. If I would've included a breast lift with the breast augmentation it would've been around $14,000 (all in pricing). The quality of work is just as great and trustworthy. I still just can't believe people are willing to pay those prices when they can get the same quality of work for a fraction of the price. Glad I looked elsewhere.
