Meh. Very disappointed. Friendly staff however. 4 of us went there today for supper. Rink Burger w/poutine- Over Cooked, dry, a real rink burger would be ashamed. Had better poutine...nearly everywhere. Meh. Blackened Steak Sandwich w/poutine. - asked for med-rare, received med-well...don't think they know what "blackened" means. Just..wrong. 2x Baked potato poutine - "...yuck..." Plates were hot, food was lukewarm, as if they sat under a heat lamp for 10 minutes. Fries were over cooked, arranged as a log on a plate, all stuck together with the toppings. Disgusting aftertaste. Server was friendly...but inattentive...offered to send back the burger and steak. We had zero time for another 45mim for re-fired food. Manager spoke to us, was very friendly, offered free desert bc of the meals. Very kind. We opted out bc of time. Ended up with 25% off of the burger and steak If you have a poutine craving, or want a delicious meal...don't go here. Very disappointed. read more

I love the Canadiana menu. We had beer and wings, since it was wing night. It's a given... Beer was okay. Nothin' special. Wings were fine. The mild sauce was waaayyyy too effin' vinegary for my liking, but salt and pepper were yummy and crispy. Our server was sweet, and witty, and played along when I challenged her. This place is fantastic! My boyfriend and I came up from the states to tour canada and stopped here. While the wings were disappointing for the size (When we see a lb, we assume that means boneless....but when it came out it was literally 6 wings for $12...not good) but the flavors were fantastic! We got the cheeseburger poutine, wings and a beer each. The service was great until the end, when we asked if we could pay in american money (apparently its totally ok up there) and we asked to just exchange a $20 in american for the equivelent in canadian, well the server kept asking how much was going to her and how much was going back to us...we really didnt care for that since it is so akward, we would rather get the full change like in the states and then leave what is going to her...other than that, the food was fantastic, filling and yummy! read more

What a fun and friendly pub! The service is so friendly, very attentive even to local clients. My local bar tends to ignore the regulars, and this one is so professional with everyone visiting. The food was amazing and great beer selection on tap as well. This is a Brandon must!! read more

Stopped off in here while driving through Manitoba for a quick dinner. Did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. One of my favourite places to eat in Brandon! The service is usually great - friendly, quick, and informative. The atmosphere is definitely bar-esque, but also cozy and sports-oriented. Their alcoholic drinks are some of the best I've tasted and they make them how you want if you have a specific taste. However, they also have soft drinks for those who don't care for alcohol, and kids are also welcome to come in and eat off of their kids' menu, which has a variety of different foods to choose from. The regular menu has mostly burgers, wings, poutine and hotdogs - but there are also salads and wraps to choose from if you're looking for something a bit healthier. For dessert, there's not much of a selection, but oh boy are they delicious! My only vices with Joe Beeverz are the size of the restaurant and the price of the wings compared with what you receive. The restaurant could use double the space to accommodate the traffic they get. The wings are delicious, although they aren't boneless and are a little small. In my opinion they are definitely worth the price if you're willing to splurge a little, and they're more filling than they look. 12 Sept 2015, This is the ONLY place in Brandon that had the sound for the CFL double header, Banjo Bowl and Battle for Alberta. Had gone to Two other "sports bars" and was disappointed. Only Joe Beeverz was not playing background music. You could watch and hear the game and hear normal conversation. read more

Went with the family of 4. 2 kids 5 and 10 $87 was the bill very exspensive for what you get my 5 yr old had a $12 cheese burger with no fries and a few veggies.. Poutine was terrible hard and very dry fires hardly no cheese and gravy i think got sucked up by the dry fries as they were that dry.. I am from QC and you can get a poutine a good one and about the same size for $7 this one is was way over priced . Wings are about the only positive thing we had from this place. Other than stay i won't ever go back with the family maybe for a beer and wings that's it. i can go to the Keg for that much money.. read more
