I am contacting someone- the health department or somewhere- I am outraged that a convenience store on the main strip in a town on I-30 could be so nasty. My 12 year old said she needed to take a shower, and my husband and I agreed! A port-a-potty at a concert would have been a better alternative!

There's nothing quite as relaxing as knowing a Love's is there with consistently good friendly helpful diligent people ( because that's who they hired not because they're under pressure to 'fake it') on staff,clean, well thought out facilities, rows of clean bathrooms, rows of clean showers that are like a motel room without the bed : shower, toilet, sink, towel, floormat towel, and washcloth , soap ( of course if you have sensitivities you'll have brought your own) the ADA showers can be rolled into, and have ADA bars and a second ( lower) shower nozzle/controls. I just took my first shower after a 1600 mile segment of a road trip and ( napped in the ca for a few first), then spent an hour, like a bird in a birdbath:) emerging clean and refreshed. $18 There is a pull lock on the inside of the shower for extra safety.. If you've drive much across America you know how big a part of keeping America going that trains and truckers play. It's no exaggeration to say Love's keeps America going. I can't lie I LOVE loves, so greatful to them for what they do and how well they do it.

They close at 9:00 p.m. I have eaten the fresh made donuts at Jon's Mini Mart several times now. I have waited a while now, on purpose, to review the donuts. Sometimes when something is new, it takes a while to work out the "kinks". Well the donuts are not all that good. Of all the donut shops in town, Jon's Mini Mart has the worst fresh-made donuts in Sulphur Springs. Honestly, they taste like they have been hurriedly mixed and fried sort of as an after-thought instead of high-end quality donuts that one likes from say a Daylight Donut Shop. This is a nice community store with nice owners run by the family, but I would not drive across town for anything at this store, especially not the donuts.
