They just had to file my hst, told me I need the code from revenue Canada, so I called got the code gave it to them in june and they said they would file. I got a notice from revenue Canada saying it was never filed. I called left voicemails as they never answer. Left emails. ALL IGNORED. Put in an email complaing through liberty tax website and got an email cc to the person who did my tax saying to contact your client right away. Got an email back from mahar saying out of town will call you tomorrow at 12, never happened. I emailed saying you never called me, again no reply. Waiting another week or 2, called the liberty tax phone support put in a complaint there, was told business owner would call within 24 hours, that was sept 21, its not oct 7. I got an email sept 21 saying from mahar they filled their obligation but as a complentary they will file it and need the info. I sent the info, they had the info, they did do my taxes!! I wrote back saying complentary?? I paid for this!!!!! and again no reply and NEVER filed. I went to their facebook made a review, where they removed it and being able to leave comments. I have never seen such a scam before, such an unshady company taking advantage of people on disability. Not only that, I am in organ failure, I am in and out of the hospital constantly a nd I told them that when I first called and gave them the code, saying I'm very sick, just got out after a week in the hospital and I cant believe they would treat someone like this. I have phone records of my calls, email proof, report numbers. Now I'm paying interest daily on what I owe and still nothing filed. If I don't get a refund I am going to the news and the court. I want the world to know what they did to me, even with a refund I don't want this to go away. I do customer service, and never have I seen anything like this in my life. Such disgread, heartlessness, I begged them to file it. I cant afford to pay interest. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I found Storoszko & Associates and they took me on as a client. They reviewed my tax files, including the tax return prepared by the first tax service and found many discrepancies... so many that they found I was due a refund of over $1000! I was not certain at first, but they described the issues... the previous tax service missed common deductions and misreported my foreign income. Storoszko & Associates was CORRECT! I was pleased when I received my refund after Storoszko & Associates refilled my tax return. They also prepared my US tax return with accuracy and was pleased I received a refund from the US as well! These guys are great!
