If you've ever been to Bagsværd you'd know that it's not a very big city, and seems to have an overpopulated amount of kebab places and not enough places to go when you want something quick for lunch. It's really refreshing to see a place like Fresh Up which you can quickly come in and grab a bite to eat for lunch and know that you've had something healthy for lunch other then running to a kebab place in Bagsværd. They serve sandwiches, salads/pasta, smoothies/milkshakes (even protein shakes) and coffee & sweets. I've been here twice now, and I've tried their spicy chicken sandwich and their tuna sandwich. Both were really great! I will say though that I normally don't have a problem with spicy sandwiches, but wow! That was one spicy sandwich! Mouth was definitely burning quite a bit. I'd definitely get it again, but ask for less of their spicy dressing next time. I've also tried their strawberry/banana smoothie which was very refreshing!

For the salad, you can choose up to three types and we had the couscous, green beans, and pasta salad. We wolfed both down cleanly. The second day, we had the crayfish salad sandwich again, and a chicken sandwich, and another small salad. The food here is so FRESH that you dont feel guilty for eating as much as I did. The prices are reasonable, about 50 dkk a sandwich and 45 dkk for a little salad. We loved the place so much that I even took home the menu. It's a small place and has limited seating.
