I had been out running and aggravated a long term mid-back injury I've had since I don't remember. Dr. Z was happy to evaluate and get me some relief. I've since been to him a little less than a dozen times for various things while in the Miramar Beach area. While I'm an 'out of towner' he is always quick to schedule and I feel like I'm a local patient. Whether you are a runner, play golf or accidentally fall off your bike and tweak your back while in town, don't hesitate to give Dr. Z a call! Was vacationing from out of state at Navarre Beach when I woke up at dawn one morning (on my…read morebirthday of all days!) with my neck in spasm. I could not turn my head from side to side without a lot of pain, and we were supposed to go on a dolphin cruise that day. I searched for chiropractors in the area that were open early, and could fit me in, and left messages for several. The only one who contacted me back was Dr. Marshall's office. While I still wasn't able to make the dolphin cruise, I got some relief after the visit, and two days later, didn't wake up with pain in my neck. I'm still not 100%, but I've had this issue with my neck over the years and it's never "adjustment = 100% immediate relief" - it always takes a few days. Dr. Marshall advised me to ice my neck to take down the pain and inflammation, and even provided an ice pack so I could start icing on the drive back to our rental. He, and his front office staff, were professional, friendly, and I very much appreciated them accommodating me on such short notice. Bonus: He's a vet along with several other family members. I have several vets in my family, so it was nice to support the business. (p.s. - don't tell him he looks like Fred McGuire [Herman Munster - The Adams Family] - he's heard it many times before! lol Actually, DO tell him, and tell him I told you to do so!).
