The pizza we had today was delicious! Old school pizzeria style, hand tossed crust which you can tell/ taste is made fresh and had great crust Manageable "sag" in the center but Not soggy. And the Edge crust had a wonderful breadstick style chew to it. Pizza toppings are fresh and good coverage across the pie. We also had their wings: regular and spicy, which were meaty, hot & crispy even after delivery. The flavor was so good we didn't even use dipping sauce. Our delivery arrived as estimated 30-45 minutes (prime time Friday night) and the driver was courteous and friendly. Will definitely be ordering again in near future! read more

Just ordered for the first time and I can't believe what I've been missing out on. I got a large pizza with mushrooms, feta, chicken and pepperoni, and an order of spaghetti that came with garlic bread and a salad. I usually have low expectations for spaghetti when I order because no one ever comes close to what my mom used to make, but it's my favorite food and so it's always better than none. I was very happily surprised with the flavor and slight kick of Joe Reno's sauce! The noodle to sauce ratio was also on point. The pizza was loaded with toppings and everything looked and tasted very fresh. I will definitely be a regular customer now! Also, the delivery was quick and they called when they got here so I could run down and grab it in order to keeping their drivers safer due to Covid, which I appreciate because it means they make safety a priority. read more

I drive by Joe & Reno's all the time and finally stopped in. Their Monday special 1 large pizza with 5 toppings for $14.49 is a great deal! My carnivorous partner ordered 5 meats and was thrilled the toppings were piled on so much they fell off the pizza. I liked they don't over sauce a pizza, just enough to glue everything together! The lady working was very nice and hooked us up with plates (styrofoam sadly, please use paper!) and napkins. We will be back soon for more great pizza! read more

The company I work for ordered Joe & Reno's pizza for a company lunch and the pizza was great! The supreme or (Joe's) pizza was delicious, and the pepperoni was also very good, as well as the regular cheese being a tasty classic. DO NOT order the BBQ chicken pizza. 90% of the 3 BBQ chicken pizzas went from the plate to the trash. Everyone commented that it was awful and I have to agree with them. The sauce tasted like the Open Pit brand, and it is just too tangy (or maybe vinager-y) for a pizza. Can't go wrong with sweet baby rays... Supreme (Joe's), pepperoni, and cheese. I was on my way back from the dentist and needed to get something cheap and quick before heading back to work. J & R's was advertising $5 subs, so I stopped. I ordered an Italian sub and made it a combo, thus $6.75 was total. The combo included fries and a large diet Pepsi. I was in and out in approximately 8 minutes and the sub was incredible. The meat, veggies and cheese were very fresh and the toasted sesame seed bun complimented the sub greatly. The French fries were hot and crispy, just the way I like em. One word... Delicious! We are from out of town and found this place on Yelp. The lady that answered the phone was so helpful. Come to find out we are outside of their delivery area so she recommended to pizza places that was closer to us. I felt like I was in the movie with Kris Kringle at Macy's department store and all he wanted me to have was the toy I wanted for Christmas whether Macy's had it or not. She just wanted us to have a good pizza regardless of where we were. So, we placed our order: a medium pepperoni with mushroom, a small grilled chicken and mushroom and a dozen wings and we drove the 15 minutes to pick them up. Not only were the pizza's ready when she said they would be, they were delicious! She told us she's been there for 28 years and I know why now, great food and an amazing, friendly attitude to serve. Their website states that they have a 5 topping pizza on Tuesdays for $10.95 which is why I went there. When I got there, they told me that the 'mobile version of our page displays things wrong' and that 'we don't sell $5 crap here.' First, I wasn't asking for a $5 pizza and second, their pizza is good, but it's no better than Crazy Pizza or Rosie D's, both of which are much cheaper. I guess the star rating says it all...."A-OK." Wasn't my favorite of all time but the pizza was not too thin and not too thick with a perfect amount of sauce. I detected some sweetness in the sauce which was a nice change of pace and the ham was thinly sliced, just the way I like it. As for the bread sticks.....ummm, they were okay I suppose. They didn't have too much pizazz and they didn't give us any dipping sauce which was a total bummer. The salad was a bit lacking too as it was mostly lettuce. However, for the price, the meal was fine. I might go here again but I would probably get a sub or something else from the menu besides the pizza special. read more

I'm a little bummed out because I ordered from here based on the almost-5-star rating on google. I got a large pizza with half jalapeño and half pineapple. The dough was soggy in the middle and crispy on the crust. There were a large amount of toppings, causing everything to fall off the dough when a piece was pulled out. What a great little pizzaria in Dearborn. They pile on the toppings and completely cook the dough leaving a wonderful crispness to compliment the top quality ingredients. This is an excellent neighborhood pizzeria. I don't use the term "neighborhood" derogatorily: what I mean is that in an area surrounded by chain pizzerias (some of which are excellent -- I'm looking at you, Buddy's), Joe and Reno's offers unique fare that is delicious and unreminiscent of more popular pizza styles. The crust is very crisp, yet chewy, and the sauce is bold and savory with a hint of sweetness. Most importantly, however, is the use of natural casing "old world" style pepperoni. On some pizza styles, this type of pepperoni just doesn't work IMO (as much as I love Buddy's, the style just isn't fit for natural casing pepperoni), but on an old school tavern-type pizza like you get at Joe and Reno's, they're heaven: as the pizza bakes, the pepperoni casing chars and curls up, yielding a wonderful, bacon-like crunch. This is the kind of pepperoni pizza I grew up eating at another local pizza joint. It's worth mentioning that the owner seems to be there 14 hours a day, 6 days a week at least. Hard-working guy that really stands by the quality of his product no matter what. This is old-school, blue collar hospitality at its best. read more

The little pepperonis on the pizza really did curl up and hold just the right amount of grease! I asked for bell pepper on half of the pizza, and was surprised that it was chopped, back home it's usually sliced. No biggie... The pepper was nice and fresh. I've had delivery from them a couple times and thought it was pretty good. I did pick up for the first time today. It was very, very dirty inside. And the manager was being really rude to her employees. I didn't like my experience but thought I'd overlook it. When I got it home all of the cups and had a really bad smell on them and looked dirty and so did the "new" drink carrier they gave us. I couldn't see too much of what was going on in the kitchen but I don't think their cleanliness practices are very good. read more

I always get Joe's Special pizza when I go there. Hearty and fresh toppings, soft and doughy pizza crust (for me, it's a keeper!). Now they've started offering gluten-free pizza crust, though only in small size, but it's pretty good. Will get it again for sure. The people that work there are nice and friendly; they'd chat with you like you are an old neighbor even when you just walk in there for the first time. Once again they forgot the dressing even after we specifically remind them. The appetizer food was inedible. It tasted freezer burned and I couldn't even finish it. Just wanted to share an experience that I had tonight, I was at work all day and when I got home it was like 10 pm I was real hungry and decided I would order a pizza from my favorite Pizza Place here in Dearborn, I ordered a small pizza, salad,and some bread sticks $12.99 such a deal, I elected to pick it up so in like 15 minutes I headed that way, I walked in and I heard someone say Hi to me and asked if I had a pick up, I told him my name and he said that my order will be a few minutes (yay hot PIZZA) as I stood there I thought I would watch theses guys make pizza, Well let me tell what I saw was so disturbing that I will never order from there again I saw some dirty sauce pans with sauce OR SOMETHING in it that looks like the were not washed for a while, Then I saw a man put his hands with no gloves reach into a tub of coleslaw like that CLAW game at Chuckle Cheeses and fill some containers for an order, I wanted to walk out then, after that he continued to bag and staple the bags shut with all the paper work attached not once did he wash his hands, Then I saw him begin to make my salad again with no regard to washing his hands, I then just waked out went to Krogers and got some good ole Tortinas Pizza rolls for $2.99 Any way I will never eat at Joe and Renos Pizza ever again I surprised that the health dept has not looked at that. Being a town full of pretentious and over priced pizza joints with way to many to try. I had buddy's and jets and loved it but the costumer service went down so I wanted to try a different place. The pros are that they use high quality ingredients on their pizza, and they're not cheap with the toppings. However, they can't quite seem to cook the bottom right. For a while they did it right, but then they started to cook it too well done. So I asked for to be a little lighter- not lightly done, but they made it too lightly done.
