Our first purchase was 11 years ago, they helped us close on a short sale as first time buyers within 30 days. This last sale/purchase was in the fall of 2021. We listed our home knowing that it was going to be a tough market to try and have a contingent sale, but they pulled it off. They kept clear lines of communication so we would know when our home was being shown as well as every step that was needed in the process. They worked with our buyer and the buyer's agent to keep everyone settled and focused while we were on the hunt for a home. Tom made himself available every time we asked to see a listing. As a team, they were a key reason that we were the successful offer on the home we ultimately purchased. The Telfords have many years of experience in the industry and the sellers agent worked in the same office with a business contact fimiliar with Tom and Nancy. The home had fallen out of escrow prior, and our sellers were hesitant. The contact person assured the sellers that the sale would go smoothly with the Telford team at the helm, and it did. It's so confusing to try and pick a realtor, there are tons of them around and it's hard to tell who really knows the ins and outs of the industry. Save yourself the hassle of hunting and trust the professionals who will truly have your best interests at heart.

I was disappointed with the efforts from Telford Real Estate team to find buyers for our home. We…read moremeet with the Telford's approximately three weeks prior to listing our home to get an evaluation of the Claremont market, get a feel for a reasonable sale price based on current market conditions, and to get advice on any improvements needed for our home prior to listing. The Telford's informed us that Claremont was still considered a high demand market with limited inventory and if we listed our home slightly below market value we would likely get lots of interest and multiple offers. We followed their advice, made the necessary improvements, set our asking price slightly below the suggested market value, and kept our home in top condition and available for viewing. We only got three buyers to look at our home (all from other agents). The Telford's never brought a single client to view our home. We were lucky to get a single offer but we had to settle for $30K below our asking price. The Telford's efforts to find us buyers appeared to us to just put a "for Sale" sign in the front yard and list the house on various real estate websites. The Telford's did do an adequate job of taking photos, writing a description for the listing, setting up escrow, working with the buyer agent, and supporting the home inspection and buyer walkthrough's. I felt that the Telford's just did the bare minimum effort to sell our home, the easy path for them, not working to get us the best deal, while collecting a $29K commission on the sale of our home. I was not impressed with the efforts from these folks.

There was so many issues but my Escrow Officer held it together and close with success. Then next was an out of town seller that had no clue on closing or selling a home. Ours was not an easy buy, flip house, not officially for sale, no credit as one does not use credit cards in Germany (Shocker!!!!) but Stone Creek came through and made it work that we could buy or dream house and move in right before Christmas.
