Just as some Google reviewers stated, things started off good with John. He was nice and agreed to…read moreinstall our fence for a decent price inside the property markers left by our builder. The job took longer than committed, but we still liked the fence and even referred him to a neighbor. That's when we found out how dishonest he is. He never gave us a referral bonus even though he told our neighbor that he did. No biggie. We don't need his money. What we needed was a fence that is on our property and NOT someone else's. We found out from a builder who was surveying the other lot beside us that a portion of our fence was several feet beyond our property line. I contacted John to have him relocate it as we had asked his company to place the fence inside the property markers. He came out and agreed that now that the other lot was cleared, he could tell the fence was outside the markers. He said he had no idea how this happened because they normally run a rope to make sure they stay inside. He agreed to come out and move the fence the following week. That next week he sent a text stating his crew got held up on a job and wouldn't be able to come out until the following week. After 10 days with no text or phone call, I reached out to John to advise the builder was asking when the fence would be moved. He responded the middle of next week. Two weeks went by with no crew, no calls, and no response to my texts. I called him and he apologized and gave excuses including the weather. He "promised" they would be out next Wednesday. On Thursday I reached out and he said his crew was sick and would be out next week. At this point, I'm offended because this Guy must think I'm stupid. We got someone else to do the work and are taking the necessary actions against this company. My recommendation: Use Universal Fencing if you want honesty, quality, and service.

If you want your work done on time do not count on Pryor. He seemed unconcerned that the day he…read morepromised was not delivered. It was excuse after excuse and he didnt care that he was late. It was done 4 days later and the only reason that was done is because I was going to go to someone else. There was a $200 coupon in the mail and that was the main reason I went with them. You get what you pay for and its not service. In the end the fence looks good but with the "i dont care" attitude it wasnt worth it. I would not recommend them to anyone and when I move I will be making sure I get a fence from someone who actually cared about my business.

I met with Jamey about installing a vinyl fence. The experience was great from start to finish…read more They were very professional and communicated with us every step of the way. We live in an HOA with strict guidelines that they were happy to follow. I was not able to make it to the actual install, but Jamey took very good notes, provided the estimate with pictures and drawings. The install was exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend First Fence of GA.

I initially chose FIRST FENCE after meeting with Sean, who provided a very detailed and thorough…read moreestimate -- far more comprehensive than other companies I contacted. Despite their quote being approximately 25% higher than competitors, I felt confident that the quality of workmanship would justify the price. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those expectations. The crew installed approximately 100 defective pickets along with several problematic posts. I was told their installers had significantly more experience than those at other companies, which made it all the more frustrating that such obvious defects weren't caught and avoided during installation. While they did return to replace the posts, I was left wondering why those materials were used in the first place. To make matters worse, a 6x6 post was also questioned -- some professionals claimed it was acceptable, others said it was clearly defective. FIRST FENCE did eventually replace it, but not without multiple visits and conversations. While the fence does look good now, the process was far more stressful than it should have been. One of the main reasons I hired a premium company like FIRST FENCE was to avoid the headache of micromanaging a project. Unfortunately, I ended up doing just that. EDIT: Less than a year since install and already having gate failure in a low traffic area. The company is trying to charge $300 to repair the fence. apparently a gate used 2x weekly is too much and the gate is for just looking at and not using.
