With that said, he now has his daughter Teresa sharing the building with him now. So I guess you could say John's Hair Place is a "slash"...salon now. We've been following Teresa around the state of NJ for the past 10+ years (probably more), as have many of her other loyal customers...this says something about her work. Teresa branched out on her own and joined forces with John...the two spent a lot of time this past spring renovating the place to accommodate Teresa and the influx of customers she brings where ever she goes....she always has a smile on her face, always does a great job (my wife can attest to that...especially on our wedding day) and is extremely reasonable. Walk-ins welcome...appointments with Teresa are recommended though.

Getting my hair cut by John is an experience. He takes his time and does it right. It is quality and you can feel it. Your haircut is not done in 10 minutes and for good reason. I was really nervous coming in since I had regretted a few haircuts at other places in months prior - it's tough to explain the specific type of cut I'm going for. I wanted long in the back, short sides, and just-enough on top, all while adding length to the face. And despite all the specificity, the barber I had managed to do it all! My wait was short as well (~3 minutes, waiting for a couple of guys) on a Wednesday night. I think the guy I had was awesome; I am seriously impressed. He seemed focused and took his time to give me a really spectacular result. I'm glad I chose this shop since there were many options in L.P. and surrounding towns.
