Went in to buy a hardhat and ended up getting a 7 year old hat that is against osha rules. OSHA rules are that a hard hat cannot be 5 years old or older.this rule is here to keep workers safe in the event that you have an accident involving these hard hats. Well I went back to exchange the hat ant was met with a reluctant attitude.the old lady did finally agree to exchange the hat and I looked at there American eagle design hats and they were 15 years old! All of them. They are charging a premium of 40 or 50 something dollars for these 15 year old hats. It is obvious that they care more about protecting profits rather than keep there customers safe with these products. All of there hard hat selection was out of date except Mabe a handful of hats that she went to the back to get out of a box that was hidden from sight. She also lied about the hard hats being good 5years from the date of purchase. I explained to her that it's 5 years from the manufacture date and was met with over talking. Buyer beware read more

This is my one stop place for work wear. It is a little out of the way for most of us, but just keep it in mind if your even remotely close to Morgan City. Yes, they sell cowboy boots and western wear, but more so heavy on industrial clothing. Like welding jackets and shirts, Red Wing boots and such. The big thing is that they sell factory seconds. That's where the price makes me smile. I buy high quality Red Kap work shirts, brand new, but considered a factory second for $8 each. And im a big guy. That's a size 3XL long sleeve short sleeve. Can be a nomex type, fluorescent orange or my fave, a light grey button up shirt. I pair that up with new Red Kap dark blue trousers. Also way cheaper than new Dickies at Wal Mart. So needless to say I stock up on these outfits when I pass by. Cheaper than destroying my jeans and regular t shirts. They also do custom embroidery. read more

Have always bought my boots, dress boots, hunting boots, welding clothes, hunting clothes and lots of other things from Joe's Boots in MC. I've never had a problem with the service until now. I bought 2 pair of Justin boots, two weeks after I started wearing them, the seam around the ankle area of 1 boot started to split open as if they were sewed too close to the end of the leather. I brought them in and was treated as if I was trying to get something over on them. The girl at the counter said that there was nothing that they could do without the receipt. Well, I didn't keep the receipt and never have. So, I will never step into that store again and I will recommend other go to stores such as Cavenders where they helped me get my boots replaced, even though I didn't buy them from there. read more
