Ok cool I understand that. The second one was scheduled today at 10am. They left a message yesterday saying my appointment was for 10am. While I'm driving over at 9:30am I get a call saying I missed my 8:45am appointment. I was 5 minutes away and wanted to play the missed message. They blamed the Thibodaux store said they can't honor it and I can wait a couple hours for an opening. Bottom line is they probably gave my 10am to one of their repeat customers or buddies and the person didn't want to deal with new customer paperwork. Do not waste your time. My wife loves the Thibodaux office, but both myself and my wife's mom had issues with Houma. My wife asked if she wanted to try to get me in at Thibodaux I told her no. They lost my business. All I need is new glasses and it has been almost 2 months dealing with this.

I tried making a new patient appointment for my dad with Dr. Rao again. Initially, I talked to someone named Donna And had requested her to email me the new patient Paperwork so that I can Fill it out for my dad and help him bring it with them to the office. Never did I receive the paperwork or an appointment confirmation. Two days later when I called to confirm the appointment and request the paperwork again, someone named, Lindsey answered the phone and was unable to find my dad's appointment because apparently it was never entered in their system. To add to that, Lindsey was very rude, didn't except her mistake, kept arguing with me. Eventually, I ended up making an appointment With an alternate PCP. It's better to choose other locations and physicians than Haydel. Their service is just not the same as it used to be.

This place had availability for me to bring my kids in to be seen with little wait time. I seen Dr Aruna today and the staff on duty today was so nice and friendly. They are overbooked and mentally overworked... each patient is given a 10-minute slot in which you get less than 5 minutes. Allison Hebert missed a deadly genetic disorder that my daughter has. She didn't hear my concerns... in her medical chart she says that she checked her reflexes (NEVER CHECKED THEM) and they were normal.. yet five days later another pediatrician could not find any reflexes on my baby. I had to request specific referrals - one was never received. I requested lab work - denied. Said the specialist (who couldn't see us for another 4 months) would order labs if necessary. If you bring your baby here, MAKE SURE they are checking infant reflexes and deep tendon reflexes at every "wellness visit." I say again "Please do not bring your infant/baby/toddler here." To this day, I have never heard from her or Allison about my daughter who could have died if I had not known that something was truly wrong.
