However the storage unit rented was not clean nor did it have a door that was of working conditions.. had a handle that cut your hand every time opened or closed. Had I known before truck was loaded to move things in would not have moved things. Even with moisture damp-dry things still became molded. Damp-dry was replaced once a month. So between the mold damage- cost of Damp-dry containers- cost of unit it was not a good deal.. lower cost than others to start but not at the end. Cut hand several times on the lock.. I left there with damaged hutch and cut hand. But did clean it out better than it was when I moved in.. if your not going to leave things in long or it's not wood your good. One more thing payments made on regular basis each month same time, received calls twice that on the DAY they normally get check they, didn't receive.. then the office said "But we did not have any mail, maybe because it wasn't normal postman." What, like why did you call wait till next day or two days after.. but the day we normally get it we didn't! Still wasn't late because I paid a month before each due date.

I've had an account for 6 years with this place, not only have they never not been able to charge…read moremy card for payment, but I've never needed to contact them for anything. Upon trying to move out of my storage, and close my account, I had lost my key, and needed my lock drilled off, there is a charge of $10, which was fine with me. When I went there the day I was ready to move out, after waiting about 15 or 20 minutes, I was told that they couldn't cut the lock off because there was no electricity going to that building. I was kind of perturbed, because it was the only day I'd be able to get it done before my next billing cycle. So I'm told to let them contact the owner, and all of that, so that they can get a repair man and all of that. Cool, after about 2 days, I get a call saying that the lock was cut off, and that they had put one of their locks on the unit. I was ok with that, but by then there had been a huge snow storm, so of course, there was no way I could do what I had to do. So after a bout a week, I go back, to try and move my things out. When I get there, I go into the office so that they can remove the lock from my unit. Do you know that the lady had the nerve to still charge me the $10 lock removal fee, and in addition to that, inform me, that since it was the day after my billing date, that I would be charged for that month!!! I was floored that because the day I was trying to be out, they were not able to accommodate me. In addition to that, when I pulled around to my unit, the snow had not been plowed, and the walkway up to the unit was so packed in that I couldn't get the door open. The man informed me that his son took the shovel, so he'd try to find one, but of course he never did. After all of that, I still wasn't able to move out of storage that day either. This couple that are running this place have no business acumen whatsoever. And one of their mother owns the place, which I suppose is why they're running it. EITHER WAY, PAY A LITTLE MORE, AND FIND ANOTHER FACILITY!!!

This business dropped the ball twice while I was visiting from out of town. I did not have my…read moreinformation with me to access my unit so I called at 3:30, apparently after hours and explained what I thought I needed to gain access and was assured I would be able to go into my unit. I arrived during the only time frame I had open, could not gain access, Called customer service again and was told someone would contact me immediately. This did not happen, and I had to leave without my items. I live 10 hours away, and was only in town for a 3 hour window. When I contacted the facility and told them what happened, I was assured that I would be contacted later in the week with a solution. Three weeks later, I had to contact the facility again to basically be told that it was my fault, and that there was nothing that they could do. Poor customer service to say the least. Beware storing your items here. Less than six months ago they had a flash flood and some units belongings were ruined. I still don't know if my unit was affected because I was unable to obtain access, but apparently flash floods are an issue here. Supposedly, they are going to contact me again, but I doubt I will ever hear from them. If I do, I will be more than happy to revise my review if I get any customer service.

I went there to pick up a reserved 6' x 12' trailer and they told me I had to hook the trailer to my car by myself! WHAT???? I couldn't believe what I heard, even questioned her several times and was told she couldn't lift a trailer onto a hitch and I have to do it myself. Let's see, they rent trailers but can't hook them to you vehicle.
