I am glad that I took the advice from my loved one. First impressions though was that the place was rather small, and compared to the places I have shopped for eye glasses in the past, it does not have as much of a selection of eye glasses. This is especially true of brand name glasses. Still, it does sell brand name glasses like Nike, Coach, Ray Ban and others. I did find a very nice pair of Nike glasses to become my new primary pair of glasses. The reason to come to this place though is two fold 1) the eye doctor and 2) the service. The eye doctor, dr. larue was fantastic. Normally I don't like going to an eye doctor... any doctors really. The whole eye exam normally is a pain. They dilate your pupils, do all these exams, and then they go thru the frames asking you if you see better or worse to get the correct prescription for your glasses. A lot of the past eye doctors I have gone thru either treat you like another number trying to rush you out to get to the next patient or they take an inordinate amount of time asking you questions on which frame is better....asking you to go over and over thru the question "is this better or worse"...to the point where you wonder if they don't know what they are doing. Doctor Larue took the time to properly perform the eye exam, was professional throughout it, and quickly and efficiently got the correct prescription I needed for my eye glasses. Best eye exam I have had since I started wearing glasses. The saleswoman, I wish I had gotten her name, also took the time to help me find the right pair of glasses...patiently waiting while I chose and even gave me her opinion on which looked best. She also was nice enough to help fix the glasses I came in with. My frame on my current and only pair was loose... one of my lens always was in danger of falling and had that day already. She went and tightened the screws while she was making the order for the new glasses. Wonderful experience... the staff is friendly and everyone there looks to genuinely care about their customers.

I had been there for years & never had this problem & will not accept being herded into a crowded waiting room with so many others again! Such a shame people are so rude!

Mind you they had three staff members sitting behind the counter. The wait woulD never have been so long if one working tech wasn't "fluffing" the prior customers pertaining to all the upgrades which none chose.. I will never go there again. The trip to the main VA would have been better! Don't waste your time. Lastly. The office closes during lunch. Which is why I had to make a second trip totally out of my way to finally have my time wasted..
