On the morning of the hearing, I contacted the company to obtain the status of service and any service attempt information. Because the court required detailed information regarding service attempts, a court clerk also contacted the company seeking the dates and times of any attempts. At that time, the requested information was not provided. My hearing proceeded without the service information, and the matter was concluded shortly thereafter due to the lack of completed service. Several hours later, at approximately 12:27 PM on March 9, 2026, after the hearing had already ended, the company sent a report containing alleged service attempts from March 5 through March 8. My concern is not simply whether service attempts were made. My concern is that the information was not made available before the hearing, when it was actually needed. As a result, the service had no practical value to me at the time of the court proceeding. After I disputed the charge with my credit card issuer, the company continued to send invoices and informed me that finance charges would accumulate and that the account may eventually be sent to collections.

JPL brings a level of responsiveness, and attention to detail that makes a real difference. They have consistently gone above and beyond for me, and their support has white glove. They help ensure things are done correctly and take a lot of the friction out of the process. In a system where not everyone has access to full legal representation, having a service like this is more than worth the cost--and for someone representing themselves--I would say it is critical. Highly recommend.

He took on a complex service request and not only worked within our exigencies, including our budget, but served party on his initial attempt even when party served was hostile. Mr. Diaz was paid to stalk me at the Anaheim Convention Center. He took recordings of me that were played online by "content creator." Mr. Diaz served me in a medical area during a blood drive for the convention. This is why the police report was filed for medical interference. Mr. Diaz was recording me and claimed I would have to travel to San Diego and there was a pending TRO. There was no TRO and I never had to appear in San Diego in person. The people Mr. Diaz was serving me for I had never met in person or had any interactions with other than online. The person who paid Mr. Diaz was served by my attorney for business interference 8 months before. I confronted Mr. Diaz after the service and started to record him which at that moment he became very afraid and nervous. The man is a coward. I was just trying to gather who he was and thankfully I did. Later, I tried to politely inform Mr. Diaz of what was going on with the footage he recorded and was only responded with threatening texts. Mr. Diaz attempted to act as a witness for the petitioner and his testimony was so ridiculous that the judge threw it out. He was wearing a T-shirt and shorts for the court hearing. Needless to say the case that Mr. Diaz served me for was dismissed. I WON! If you need further information on these violations please contact the Orange County Recorder or the Anaheim Police Department. The review below mine under the name KD in San Diego is the mother of the petitioner. She didn't even pay for the process service and used her son to harass me with this court case. THEY LOST!

I talked to several process servers and explained all our struggles and difficulties. I asked each of them how they would handle the situation if our defendant proved impossible to serve after trying. Chris's answer to that question was a confident laugh and, "I will have him served." That's why I went with him, and I am very happy I trusted my gut. Chris was able to take the limited clues and information we provided, track him down, and complete substituted service when personal service was not realistically possible. What impressed us most was not just that Chris got the defendant served, but what happened afterward. Close to the hearing, the defendant filed a Motion to Quash Service and also sent us a separate packet challenging the service that had not even been properly filed with the court. It was stressful and confusing, but Chris immediately stepped in, provided detailed records, explained the applicable small claims service rules, and helped us understand exactly how to respond. Chris was patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He did not just serve the papers and disappear -- he stood behind his work and helped us deal with the defendant's attempt to challenge service. The judge ultimately denied the defendant's Motion to Quash and found the service to be valid and sufficient. Serving the defendant was the biggest hurdle in our case, and I am so happy Chris helped us get over it. Now that we've won the judgment, Chris is even guiding us on how to claim the service fee, as it's allowed to be recovered by law. We truly appreciate Chris' professionalism, fast response time, attention to detail, and endless patience in explaining the process when we were panicking. If you are dealing with an evasive defendant, a difficult service issue, or someone trying to avoid being served, I highly recommend Chris and SkipNServe.

He prepared thorough declarations and Proofs of Service, paid close attention to the details that matter in litigation, and understood how to support the service in a way that would hold up under scrutiny. When service was challenged, he stood with us through multiple motions and rebuttals, helping us stay organized, focused, and prepared at every stage. What impressed us most was that Chris went far beyond what anyone would normally expect from a process server. He proactively obtained USPS address verification without being asked, and he helped us form and sharpen our filings so our arguments were clearer and stronger. He was thoughtful, responsive, and generous with his time, and he always approached the situation with professionalism and a real understanding of the legal issues involved. His guidance helped us present our position clearly and confidently in the hearings, and his support made a stressful process much more manageable. Chris was not just reliable -- he was truly exceptional. We cannot recommend him highly enough, whether you are plaintiffs in pro per like us or professionals in law. If you need someone who is knowledgeable, proactive, meticulous, and genuinely committed to doing excellent work, Chris is exactly the person you want on your side.
