They started off with heat therapy to warm my muscles, then carefully stretched out my mid back and neck. The heat helped to calm down my muscle spasm and provided immediate relief. After the heat and stretch, they massage any knots out of the problem area and no joke, it felt like my back was already back to normal after that. They didn't stop there though. Now I know that some people swear by chiropractors and others think they're quacks, but I've never been to one before and I really had no opinion one way or the other. After my appointment, I decided to give the treatments a try. I was desperate for relief. My treatment plan included two months of visits, going three times a week. After that, I was x-rayed to check my progress. Then I was put on a schedule of two more months, going twice a week. Then I was x-rayed again to check my progress. At that time, I had gotten such great results and my pain was completely gone, so I decided to stick with it. I also have a couple of herniated discs and I had been relying heavily on Advil to relieve the ache. My chiropractic care has really helped with my herniated disc discomfort and cut down on my Advil consumption. Overall, I have been very pleased with my care and results.
