One day I bent over to water my plants and this horrible pain shot down my leg. I thought I pulled a muscle. I figured it would go away after a few days. Fast forward a couple of months and it wasn't getting any better. After playing doctor on the internet, I deduced that it was my sciatica. It wasn't going away on its own, so I knew I needed professional help. A coworker told me about this place and said he even got a groupon for his first visit. So I purchased the groupon and went for my appointment. The groupon included a consultation, exam and massage. Now I know that some people swear by chiropractors and others think they're quacks, but I've never been to one before and I really had no opinion one way or the other. After my appointment, I decided to give the treatments a try. I was desperate for relief. My treatment plan included two months of visits, going three times a week. After that, I was x-rayed to check my progress. Then I was put on a schedule of two more months, going twice a week. Then I was x-rayed again to check my progress. At that time, I had gotten such great results and my pain was completely gone, so I decided to stick with it. I also have a couple of herniated discs and I had been relying heavily on Advil to relieve the ache. My chiropractic care has really helped with my herniated disc discomfort and cut down on my Advil consumption. Overall, I have been very pleased with my care and results. Especially, the great combination treatment with modern laser machines helped release 50% the pain on my hand right after the very first treatment. I also can bend my finger a bit. The fee is affordable, and it really worth it! My finger was messed from a negligent doctor. He hit my nerve while giving the steroid injection for trigger finger. This would've been my first time being one of Dr. Tubio patients. But unfortunately I didn't get the chance to meet him or experience any of his, "miracle adjustments." I called several times to all phone numbers that were listed on file and couldn't get ahold of anyone. Finally, I waited and called about an hour later and I was able to speak with someone. After dealing with the office manager and how rude she was towards me I will NOT be going back. I explained to her that I couldn't make it to my appointment due to being sick. I asked her if she could let me talk to the Doctor and she kept talking over me not letting me talk. After a long awaited conversation of us going back and forth she discussed with me that there will be a $100 cancelation fee. I wasn't aware of the cancellation fee, then I proceeded to ask her to send me an email where I would be able to see that on their policy. She then realized she had my email incorrect that's why I wasn't getting any notifications only via text. She then reassured me that Dr. Tubio would give me a call back after his last appointment and I waited all day but never received a call from any of them! In fact I even called back and no one picked up!! I'm very disappointed to see that there was a charged. By this point I'm absolutely livid with the utterly appalling customer service in what is considered one of the successful Chiropractor In Houston Tx. Went to a lunch hosted by this clinic at our nearby Olive Garden. The doctor and his wife were hospitable while the restaurant was well-run by the local staff. The slide presentation and talk were informative but lacked the umph to entice me to sign up for very pricey therapy with no guarantee of success. I found the medical professionals and technicians at Fort Bend very helpful, friendly and professional. They have moved to new facilities recently and the new location is lovely with all the latest equipment. The people are the same friendly people and still make you feel right at home and get right to work on you. There was seldom a wait as they usually took me right away. That being said, I had lots of hope that it was going to relieve my pain and debilitation of what I think is peripheral neuropathy. I had been to other physicians who had given me no hope that there was actually a cure. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. I didn't get any better. It's true I didn't keep the schedule of treatment sessions as they wanted, but I don't think that was why the treatment didn't help. But I may be wrong. Today, I collected the last part of my Living Social voucher for a consultation, adjustment and massage at Fort Bend Corrective Health Center. It was a wonderful offer and I had slept funny and had a crick in my neck. A few days ago I had the consult and adjustment. Another reviewer mentioned a heavy sales pitch, a push for x-rays and having to watch a video. I didn't receive a heavy pitch, said I had two year old x-rays on my phone, which was accepted, and there was no video to watch. I also mentioned another doctor and how he didn't do a regular hands-on adjustment, just a popping mechanism. Dr. G didn't bad-mouth him. Just said it was also an accepted technique. I received the normal twist and turn adjustment. Dr. G also used a vibrating prong-like device on my neck to break up the knot. It worked! Having the massage today worked out well. Sometimes after an adjustment, if there were issues, my muscles can be a bit sensitive. Dr. G had paid special attention to the neck knots, so it was best for me to wait a couple of days before the deep tissue massage. It really relaxed me. It was almost perfect - the voucher said an hour massage but it was 50 minutes. Other than that and their strange office hours, I was quite pleased with the service provided and the results. I started treatment in February because of very severe neck pain and shoulder pain caused by 30 years of bad posture and slumped over a desk. It was to the point that I could not sleep because of the pain and had to sleep in a recliner to get any comfort at all. Dr. Tubio's treatments along with the exercises he gave me to do at home have made me a true believer in chiropractics! In less than 2 months I have noticed a significant reduction in my neck pain and stiffness and in my mobility in my shoulder. Dr. Martino and the staff at FB Corrective Health are truly top notch professionals who sincerely care for their patients. The treatments I am receiving are very different than previous chiropractic treatments. They are focused on getting my full spine in correct alignment (rather than just a small "injured" area) so every organ in my body is getting the signals from my brain and is functioning fully. Very tricky business. They try to scare you even if you have minor back issue in order to sign up in their endless chiropractor adjustment practice. When I asked for my x-rays to show to another chiropractor for 2nd opinion they rejected my request and that tells me they don't want someone else to pass an opinion about their findings. So my wife gives me a groupon for this place. I call to make an appointment at a little after 3 and I get the answering service who says they are out to lunch, WTF? So I call back the next day after 3:30 PM and I get the office girl who is in WAY over her head. I book an appoinment for Thursday 9:30 AM and on Thursday I arrive to find out they do not open until 3:30 PM. Why book an appointment when you are not open? Also my groupon was for a chiro visit and a 60 minute massage. I asked if I could do this all in one visit and was told no, makes zero sense to me. Obviously this place does not do much business if they do not open until 3:30 PM and I got the impression they are just like all the other Chiro places in that they want you to keep coming back so the $ keep rolling in. read more

Fort Bend Corrective Health Center was a great experience! I've had scoliosis and back/neck and hip pain for 10+ years. I've been to chiropractors before but the treatment was just a quick adjustment and you're on your way. This clinic is different in that they provide extra therapies to help accelerate your treatment. Plus the therapies feel great! I also love that they offer some medical services as well as massages - so I can easily schedule a massage while I'm in the office for an adjustment. I heard about Fort Bend Corrective Health Center when Dr. Martino spoke at a luncheon in February and knew I had to give myself the opportunity try out their program to see if I could heal from an adrenal problem that medical doctors couldn't help me with. I understood from Dr. Martino's talk that the body can respond negatively if the nerve pathways are blocked, and I believed I needed to see if that would be my relief. I am so glad I did! Came in because of the Groupon I bought. You want more patients, but you are closed majority of the day and it's so hard to schedule when they hardly answer the phone and aren't even there. I agree with a previous reviewer that its ridiculous as to why you can't get a massage the same day as the chiropractic service. If anything if you get the massage and then the chiropractic adjustment its works even better. The chiropractor was just using a sales pitch. Making you watch a video before being seen and then persuading you to get an xray (don't do it unless you really really need it). They don't care if you had an xray done yesterday at an actual imaging facility, they want you to do it again there...why because they want your $$$. Everything is a sales tactic there except the massage. Definitely never knock down other chiropractors or facilities. As a physician you don't tell patients that the other doctor is not good. The massage was amazing and the only good part of this groupon. read more
