This is an account of both my wife's and my experiences being treated by Dr John Albert. He is at the Rheumatic Disease center at 7080 N Port Washington Rd,Glendale,Wi,53217. Out of nowhere my wife Debbie starte having tremendous pain just about everywhere. She had trouble even getting up or even basic movements without excruciating pains.Up until then,she had been very active,she never sat down.Within a very short time Dr Albert evaluated her situation and put her on the right medication.She had rheumatoid arthritis.She is now pain free and has completely gotten her life back. I was told for years that the pains that the pains that I have were due to arthritis, osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis.While some of that is still true.Since I started seeing Dr Albert He discovered that the pain in my wrists and hands is caused by having Rheumatoid Arthritis as well and can be treated. This is the best news I have had in years since this pain has kept me up at night for years.We are working together on a solution for that situation and I am sure Dr Albert will resolve that as well. All those years I just figured my pain was arthritis or something untreatable some thing you just live with, now I have hope. Dr Albert has a no non sense business like approach, but don't let that fool you,he really cares about you as a patient and is giving you the best care with the best outcome possible. This review is 20 yrs in the making. Diagnosed with gout over 20 years ago, lived with the once a year or so flair up. A few years ago it started to get real bad and i was put on Allopurinol, it work but still was getting attacks. Went to a Local Foot specialist and they told me not gout, need surgery and the use of inserts. gave me a cortisone shot, stop the medication and see them in a few months to schedule my surgery. during the next year did have a gout attack so no need to schedule. Then out of nowhere the attack came back and hard. regular treatment only would relieve the pain and as soon as it stopped another attack would occur. I doubted the first specialist so went to another i knew in Kenosha and we was confident it was gout and introduced me to Dr. Albert. He agreed it was gout and i would not need surgery, just follow his instructions and take the medication. which I did. now three months later i feel great and starting to get movement back in the joint without any pain... Highly recommend seeing Dr. Albert. i could not imagine what it would have been like if i believe the first specialist . would have fused my joint for the wrong reason.. Dr. Albert is soft spoken and very knowledgeable. Before you have any doctor start surgery on a joint that might be cause by arthritis, i would recommend and trust his opinion. read more

It took years for me to get a correct diagnosis. It was only after finally being referred to Dr. MAlbert (recommended by another dr) that I got to him and he immediately targeted how to treat me and correctly diagnosed me. With his help and correct treatment he has been hugely influential in changing my life for the positive. After being under his care for a short while I immediately began to improve and even went on to lose 116 lbs just because I could now move and exercise since I wasn't in so much pain all day everyday. This is a long overdue heartfelt THANK YOU to Dr. John Albert and his Staff. I don't know how I would have survived the last few years without your loving care. My RA symptoms have been challenging, but Dr. Albert is always attentive and working hard to find effective treatment. My calls and emails are always responded to in a timely manner. I've been a patient here of Dr. Albert for over 10 years and have had excellent care! I've had a ton of trouble in the past with diagnosis and care until I finally visited the RDC. Dr. Albert nailed it and basically changed my life. So much so that I _still_ drive 3 hours (I'm in Chicago) to visit him regularly. After seeing numerous doctors, trying to figure out my hand issues back in 2011, my insurance company recommended me to Dr. John Albert. Dr. Albert is a gout expert, with a better understanding of how to treat it than anyone else I've seen or consulted. His method of introducing one medication while phasing out another was a correct and effective treatment for a condition with which I suffered for decades. read more
