Denise is the absolute best. Spoke with 5 different attorneys in the KC metro, all of whom told me…read moreI was SOL. Met with Denise she had the conviction removed from my record within 2 weeks! If i were to recommend any attorney in the KC Metro it would be her!

I'm writing this post to briefly share my experience with Denise Kirby. While I ultimately did not…read moreretain her as my attorney, I had several meaningful conversations with her that left a lasting impression. From the start, Denise demonstrated genuine care for her clients. She was upfront, candid, and transparent in every conversation we had. It's clear that if you choose to work with her, she will commit fully to your case and do everything within her power to help you achieve a favorable outcome. And if, for any reason, she cannot take on your case, she will still keep your best interests in mind by referring you to another trusted professional. A few years ago, while searching for legal representation, I did extensive research--making phone calls, reviewing qualifications, and weighing my options carefully. After days of effort, I narrowed it down to two attorneys, and Denise was my top choice. She checked every box in terms of what I was looking for: experience, communication, and a clear ability to fight effectively on behalf of her clients. We had a detailed conversation about my case, and I told her directly that she was the attorney I wanted on my side. But in that same discussion, she did something unexpected--she recommended I go with the other attorney I had been considering. This wasn't because she doubted the strength of my case or lacked the desire to help. On the contrary, she was forthright about her current caseload and explained that, as a solo practitioner, she didn't want to compromise the level of attention my case deserved. That kind of self-awareness and honesty is rare, and I respected her even more for it. What struck me most was her integrity. Even though she didn't take my case, I knew she was exactly the kind of attorney I wanted: capable, honest, and committed to giving her clients the best possible representation--even if that means stepping back when necessary. Some time later, I reached out to Denise again to update her on my case and get her thoughts as I navigated ongoing legal matters. Just as before, she was open, honest, and insightful. Speaking with her always left me feeling heard, understood, and more confident in my next steps. Her communication style is grounded, respectful, and real. She may not always tell you what you want to hear--but she'll tell you what you need to know. And that kind of candor is invaluable. It's important for clients to understand that an attorney's job is to defend your interests to the best of their abilities--it's not to shoulder the burden of your situation. Some attorneys will care deeply; others may be more transactional. But in Denise's case, she clearly cares. She communicates with compassion, but also with clarity and conviction. In our most recent conversation, she offered thoughtful reassurance on the questions I had and provided insight that I truly appreciated. It affirmed everything I had felt during our earlier discussions. Bottom line: If you're fortunate enough to establish an attorney-client relationship with Denise Kirby, consider yourself in exceptionally capable hands. While I haven't seen her in the courtroom, I've spoken with her at length--and if your intuition is telling you she's the right attorney for you, trust it. Go with Denise.

Horrible Attorney at Law who will help to find her client guilty by withholding exculpatory…read moreevidence and violate your 6th amendment rights to confront your accusers even when you tell her that they are not in court. She took my $2000 dollars for her vacation and never objected to anything the prosecutor did which was just playing snippets of the police body cams. I beat these 2 cases where I was beat up by the Warrensburg Police as a prose lawyer for just asking for help at the Division of Family Services for not committing any crimes because I was recording how the DFS employees were treating me and violated my 1st Amendment Constitutional Rights and the police open my truck door and did a warrantless search of my vehicle under the Plainview doctrine which is a 4th Amendment Constitutional Rights and demand my identity and said what crime did I commit and then the police retaliated against me and solicited a criminal trespass warning for no crime. Traci Fann is a Judge and was friends with the Warrensburg Judge James Roy Hall and his wife to find me guilty. Traci Fann will violate your rights and withhold exculpatory evidence to work the court so you can't sue the police for excessive force under Graham v Connor where I was taken to the hospital with injuries and was a client of the Division of Family Services and they refused to help me violating the Americans with Disability Act. I'm a elderly disabled special needs low income client who was refused any help and the police facilitated the loss of my Mo health net insurance which I lost in June July and August due to the horrible Attorney named Traci Fann! Good luck with this piece of crap attorney if you hire her!
