There is an English menu available online but not in the restaurant. Here's where I get confused. The service is excellent, full white tablecloth treatment, old-school European style. No detail is missed. Then we get to the food. It's really pretty good, all told. Here's where the attention to details goes sideways. The bread rolls felt as if they had been sitting since yesterday. The beans, although delicious, had sat around on the plate long enough to be room temperature and develop a crust. The totopos stuck in the beans were in the beans long enough to get soggy. The rice served alongside the moles was barely above room temperature and a bit dried out. All the food, in general, needed to arrive from the kitchen much warmer. Essentially, anything that could be made ahead of time was, and then left sitting out. It doesn't fit and I don't get it.

I ordered the enchiladas encacahuatadas, which were absolutely delicious. They were a bit spicy for my personal taste, as I don't eat spicy food at all, but the flavor was excellent and very well prepared. We also tried the mole enchiladas with dried fruits, which were outstanding, rich, and perfectly balanced. The chilaquiles with suadero were full of flavor and generously served. The bread was fresh and delicious as well. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Puebla cuisine. I would definitely come back.
