Throughout the entire process she was diligent, patient, and acted with integrity. She helped us navigate the crazy, scary world of buying our first home in a less-than-ideal market. I was impressed by her quick-minded and prompt communication she always met us with. Kim goes the extra mile for her clients, she truly goes to bat for them. At the same time, she's transparent and will not sugar coat things. She took time to get to know us on a personal level and even sent flowers for a death in the family. I…read morecontacted David Barth after buying a home in his development regarding the HOA which he runs. All I wanted was to ensure that we have a nice neighborhood where the rules are followed. I specifically bought a house with an HOA because I like that there are rules that drive homeowners to keep their properties and the neighborhood nice (no boats parked in driveways long term, sheds built, etc.). There are public areas in disrepair, homeowners parking trailers in their driveways and habitually leaving cars and trailers on the road, all against our HOA covenants. David said he has no way to contact residents because of privacy laws and that he doesn't get paid for running the HOA. I have requested minutes from HOA meetings as well as the date of the next meeting and he simply ignored me. I have contacted David 7 times, 6 in writing and the only time he responded was when I got him on the phone live. David ignores emails and doesn't care about keeping the common areas up and running, having a nice community or acting in a professional manner. David is unprofessional, uninformed and disrespectful. Barth Real Estate is riding the boom and doing as little as they can get away with to sell homes. I will not buy another house in a Barth community.

Having regretfully spent the last year living in one she'd listed, something new falling apart became a weekly discovery. Lights with bare wires as fire hazards in one of our children's rooms. Newly installed garage doors that we noticed were coming off the mounts barely before they would have fallen onto someone's head. Door catches screwed into clay that had been used to hide gaping holes...not professional putty, literally just molding clay. I could go on for a very long time, but instead, will simply suggest not using Teri, or anyone who shows her properties at Remax in KC. Or, at the very least, make sure she's not showing you properties from Jalaledin Naderi.
