The space itself is gorgeous with rusty orange walls with brick showing through in some areas and beautifully displayed framing supplies behind the counter. This is a pretty small gallery but has lots of really cool art in different mediums as paintings, woodblock prints, relief sculptures, face jugs and other ceramics. Folk art is usually any art created by an artist with no formal training. This gallery carries art mainly by folk artists in the southern region and they carry art by more than 40 different artists. I love to stop by here when I'm downtown and just soak up the colorful, vibrant, thought-provoking art. Some of my favorite work that they are currently carrying is by Kent Ambler (bird prints) and Bernard Gore (wood carvings/paintings). This is a must-visit Asheville gallery.

But UnderGround Vapes was a great exception, they were the first one I found locally and they had everything I needed plus they were so very helpful and took time to explain how each thing worked. Every time I go in the service and attentiveness is consistent, and the owner is always available, super helpful in addition to being very friendly.
