I will never use or recommend Petruzzelli Inc to anyone. After my mom passed away on Mother's Day…read morelast year, I inherited her home. Because of the overwhelming memories of both my parents, I made the difficult decision to sell. I had never sold a home before and made it very clear that I was placing my full trust in the agents to guide me through the process. Dominic and his team assured me that I could trust them and that they would handle everything properly. Once we received an offer, the process initially seemed to move forward normally. The buyer's lender required an appraisal, which is standard. However, after the appraiser visited the property, communication stopped. Neither agent heard back for an extended period, and the situation quickly spiraled into chaos. Deadlines were suddenly at risk, stress escalated, and everything became frantic. At the same time, I had just undergone major arm surgery. Instead of being able to focus on recovery and packing, my wife and I were thrown into overwhelming stress trying to manage the uncertainty. We had to cancel our U-Haul reservation and halt packing because we didn't know what was happening. The delays were threatening the closing date and also impacted the property we were purchasing. To address the delay, my agent, Corissa, told me that Brianna would draft a 10-day rent-back agreement to allow my family time to finish packing and secure another U-Haul, and to help align with the extension on the property we were purchasing. I agreed and, once again, placed my trust in the team at Petruzzelli Inc. That trust was completely shattered on closing day. I did not receive my payment until late that evening. Then, on Monday night while heading back to the house, I received a casual phone call from Corissa that left me in disbelief. When I asked about the agreed-upon 10-day rent back, she stated that it was never happening and said, "Oh, I forgot the arrangement," followed by laughter. I went into a full-blown panic attack. I immediately called Dominic, who downplayed the situation and even went so far as to call me a liar over the phone. The following day was filled with frantic calls, offering no real comfort or solutions. Corissa later apologized, but Dominic eventually called back and admitted, "Upon looking back through the paperwork, it appears we dropped the ball regarding the 10-day rent back." Because of this admitted failure, my family experienced significant financial hardship. We lost personal belongings and precious inherited family heirlooms that were left behind under the belief that we had additional time. Being told statements like, "If you flip the property upside down and what falls out, you keep," turned out to be completely untrue. I have politely requested full documentation, including emails, text messages, and the specific paperwork Dominic referenced. Despite repeated requests, I have not received everything. Instead, I have been told they have provided all documentation and that I should essentially move on. Everyone has the right to share their experience. Mine was one of emotional devastation, broken trust, and what I believe was a serious breach of fiduciary duty. During one of the most vulnerable times in my life, I relied on this company to protect my interests. Instead, their negligence caused chaos, financial strain, and the permanent loss of irreplaceable family items. Looking back now, I strongly believe Dominic may have tried to bribe me for silence because of their negligence. Based on my experience, I cannot and will not recommend Petruzzelli Inc.

In my opinion, she presents herself as though she personally drives the entire process, even though she appears to operate with a large team of agents and support staff. That may work for some sellers, but from my perspective it makes the service feel more like a high-volume operation than a personally attentive real estate practice. I have also observed multiple listings that, in my opinion, appeared significantly overpriced and then sat on the market until substantial price reductions were made. In one instance, a property was taken off the market and then relisted at approximately $500,000 less. Even after that reduction, I still believed the property was overpriced based on my own review of the market. My biggest concern is the way she has handled buyer interest at prices below her asking price. When I expressed interest at what I believed was a more realistic price, her responses felt defensive, dismissive, and personally offended rather than professional. Instead of simply asking for the offer to be submitted and allowing the seller to evaluate it, she characterized the interest as "lowballing." When asked to support the listing price with comparable sales, she did not provide any meaningful comparable evidence. Most recently, after I reached out to see whether a potential offer could work, her immediate response was to ask who my Realtor was. When I told her, she replied, "How come she's not doing her job?" I found that response rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. In my opinion, a listing agent should not treat a buyer's pricing opinion as a personal insult, nor should she appear to shut down buyer interest before the seller has had a fair opportunity to consider it. To be clear, this review is based on my personal experience and opinions. I am not claiming to know what discussions occurred privately between the agent and her seller. However, as a prospective buyer, I was left with the impression that she was more focused on defending her list price and protecting her ego than encouraging a serious negotiation. Based on my experience, I would caution buyers and sellers to ask direct questions, request actual comparable sales data, and make sure all offers and buyer interest are being handled professionally and transparently.
