It took him a long time to build the hut bc he would show up around 9-10am some mornings, work some, take a lunch and knock off around 3pm. We also paid him before he finished and just like Sandra, he took the money and left the job incomplete. Communication with him was very spotty, we did not know from day to day if/when he was going to show up to work. We tried unsuccessfully to reach him by phone/text to finish the little bit of work there was left to do and after so long of not hearing from him, we just gave up and stopped trying to reach him. Early June this year, it was raining almost every day and on June 11 a dead tree from the neighbor's yard fell on our fence and the back and roof of the hut. When the insurance adjuster came out, he pointed out water damage on the back side and roof of the hut and different areas where the construction work had been done incorrectly. Also, the hut needs to be repainted bc dillon dn use primer and only applied 1 coat of paint and the pics show what it looks like now. We tried unsuccessfully, again to reach dillon bc he wn answer his phone or texts from us to tell him to come look at hut and fix the poor workmanship. My husband drove to his house to find out what was going on and dillon finally called back and said he would be out the next day, of course he was a no call/no show the next day and it took him 4 more days to show up early one morning unannounced, looked at the damage, tell us he would fix the damage for free and to this day, we have not heard or seen him again. We also would not recommend hiring dillon for any job. The fence pics on his website are of our back yard...which we DID NOT give him permission to use.

As impressed as I am by the workmanship (at a great price), I was especially impressed by their attitude. The men who pressure washed, caulked, painted, and did trimwork on my house always went above and beyond with a smile and the utmost courtesy. There were little details like, "We noticed some rust on the door here, so I treated it; that should take care of it," and "Your wood door downstairs was taking some sun-damage so I put a coat of polyurethane on it to protect it. You should consider doing that annually." They didn't nickel-and-dime me for any of it, but treated me and my home with respect. That's something you just don't see on an invoice. And on the final day of the job, when I thanked Joey for his attention to detail, he said, "Well, I just try to paint every home as I'd want my own home painted." That's exactly what I wanted to hear - and what I saw.
