I had a follow-up question about Test and he promised to call back. A month later, I was advised they would schedule a Televisit. Office follow-up is very inefficient. I did miss return call a couple of times. Still trying to get answers from MRI in August. Office telephone system/process is inefficient and horrible. If you call for information, you are placed on long holds up to 15 min or more. Today, October 21, had a 11am Telecall scheduled for today. Office called at 1014a and left message to call back ASAP. Called office and explain; left me holding for 20 min and said need to reschedule call. I said "no", placed on hold again. Finally, at 1046a said Dr will call at schedule time 11a and I must be flexible as he might be with another Patient. I said No, I expect him to call at 11a as promised. Still waiting......11:30 no call. No respect for Patient's Time. At this point, I will find another practice.

One reason was that I took some medications that I shouldn't have, but they also messed up the appointment as I was supposed to have two tests, and both couldn't be done by the same person as she wasn't qualified. She said she sent texts reminding me of the list for prep, but all I received was notice that I had an appointment and there was no attachment. Even if I didn't take the meds, I couldn't have completed the test because they couldn't do both. So she rescheduled for Friday the next week, and my husband was there and confirmed it. I get SO many text messages from them I didn't check it but there was another text a couple days ago that said my appointment was Wednesday. Of course, I missed that appointment too. Now I have to pay a $75 deposit (new policy) even though I don't have a co-pay and I have to wait until someone will call me to get my credit card info and THEN we can try to schedule. I don't trust them to schedule it correctly since they already have two strikes against them. If I wasn't so far into this testing already, I would change providers and try someone else. God only knows when they will bother to call me back to get that deposit so we can schedule the appointment again. I assume I will get that "deposit" back once the tests have been completed. As soon as this is over, I'm getting a new ENT. Unfortunately, I've used this brand for about 40 years starting with Dr Coleman, and Dr Ho with my kids.

Having Humana dental insurance and on Medicare 2 days before my appt the office informed me that…read morethey would charge me a consultation fee which is snot covered by Humana but that they would cover a examination of the procedures I need which my dentist sent me a referral note to any oral surgeon of my choosing so instead of contacting my dentist to consult with him about his findings the Oral Surgeon is charging me $256.00 which is not covered by Humana. They told me this is their procedure but I think it is a way of getting more money for one who on Medicare and Social Security. Not good !

Walking into the reception area, experienced easy check-in and quick filling up of the new patient paperwork. Did notice that the waiting room did not have any self-beverage amenities like water or coffee or tea (which is why have reduced a star) but the seats were so comfy, I actually had a little snooze! My appointment time was 1:30 and I was called in within 5 mins of that time, so they were fairly prompt. The nurse who took my blood pressure and explained the process was a wonderful person by the name of Patty and she was AWESOME! What impressed me the most was that she explained everything so well, and she probably has to run thru this same spiel umpteen times a day, but honestly you wouldn't know that cause she was so attentive! After the consult and the options were explained to me, I made a decision on the procedure, and was straightaway next directed to the office Mgr for payment. Then went back to the waiting room and was called a few minutes later and headed into surgery. My actual surgery was so quick and painless! I was honestly amazed at the dexterity with which Dr Garfinkel removed the tooth, I couldn't believe it was all done in 5 minutes! Patty then gave me detailed post-op instructions and 2.5 hours later I was headed home. It was a very good overall experience and apart from the lack of beverages availability, I didn't experience any other issues. Would absolutely recommend and suggest asking for Patty. Yelp 139 /2018

I can't say enough about how pleased I've been with the experience my mom had working with Dr…read more Tutorino. She had her right hip and both knees replaced all in 2016. I have been with her both on surgery day and at several of her appointments. So first things first, it's easy to give a five star review when all of her surgeries went well. There were a few snags here and there with the hospital, but once Dr. Tutorino and his staff were involved everything was resolved swiftly. What I found most impressive about Dr. Tutorino and his staff is the evidence that they truly care about the patients. The first example of this is that after my mom had her first knee surgery, she and I gave Dr. Tutorino feedback on the low amount of pain medication she was given after leaving the hospital. It wasn't really enough to relieve her pain as prescribed and so we had to ask for a refill only a few days after leaving the hospital. Dr. Tutorino said that he would work with the physician at the hospital and sure enough, for my mom's next surgery she was prescribed a higher amount that was just right to manage her pain. Another time my mom and I were at Dr. Tutorino's office and they were running behind with the schedule. We had been waiting for over 30 minutes and the office was packed. Collette, the office manager, came around to everyone with a basket of snacks for everyone to enjoy while they were waiting. The office of Orthopaedics of Florida offers full hip, knee and shoulder replacements, as well as care for athletic injuries. They are aligned with Florida Hospital and all of my mom's surgeries took place there. After each surgery Dr. Tutorino came out personally to update me on my mom's status. He also came to her bed every day in the hospital to check on her. There was also a RN coordinator, Diane, working directly for Dr. Tutorino, who interfaces with the hospital staff and was integral in overseeing my mom's comfort and care while recovering. If you are having surgery I would recommend that you save her contact information and reach out to her immediately if you are having any issues. After leaving the hospital if you need help after hours there is an answering service and Dr. Tutorino returned our call personally. It's evident that Dr. Tutorino is constantly evaluating and improving his post surgical care guidelines. From one knee surgery to the next my mom's pain management was updated to a newer method, and her physical therapy was modified. I believe both were improvements and lead to an even faster recovery on the second knee. Overall I would give Dr. Tutorino and his staff my highest recommendation.
