The MD VIP membership nearly doubled with no notice from $2,400 a year to over $4,000...for, as I said, nothing more than to be a part of the club. His unpleasant front desk staff let me know he was the only one in the practice doubling his rates and that many of his patients were as upset with this. So on principle alone, we are both starting out the new year in search of new doctors. Good doctor, very disappointing that he is weeding out patients based on financial status. Not sure where that sentiment is in the Hippocratic Oath but...whatever. Surprised he turned out to be so Trumpy.

She came to him once previously and I was impressed by how much he remembered about her case, job, etc. He is very personable and was great at explaining her potential issues and explaining what she could do to help her symptoms. I was wary reading some of these reviews but I think Dr. Awad's personality may be taken the wrong way by some. I myself am very blunt and up front and I appreciated his demeanor. I think he has a great bedside manner. I am only taking off one star because we waited an hour and a half to be seen. Bring a book!

I advised him that this was unprofessional and unacceptable and walked out only for him to ask for me to give the sample he gave me back, to go pick up my meds he prescribed to find out his office canceled them, and to delay my records to the new PCP I started seeing to further delay me getting my medication for over two months. I will never recommend him or his staff to anyone, not even my worst enemy and report him to the GA board of medicine. People complained of him on reviews but because I never encountered this side of him until 08/2025, now I understand why he has no recent reviews under 6 years that speak highly of him or his staff.

She's the healthiest person in the world (really, we're Polish and she was missing from our healthcare system for 3 years due to some mistake in the system...she didn't have to go to the doctor for so long nobody even knew). I'm healthy, and I've got my specialty doctors, but I feel weird putting my OB/GYN as my primary doctor when filling out forms... So I started looking and found this Piedmont Physicians group in my neighborhood. I picked Dr. Mininberg based purely from her picture and her bio, but it worked out well. Dr. Mininberg was very personable, with a bedside manner that immediately drew me in. She answered my questions and addressed my concerns without just dismissing even though they were probably nothing (and thankfully turned out to be so). She spent plenty of time talking with me, making sure that I understood what could be going on. When I got the results via email, they included a personal note to say that everything looked fine, but if I still felt off that she'd be happy to see me again.

It was not until I got home to research breast cysts that I learned about how high estrogen contributes to their growth. Sounds like something I should have been informed about during my visit given the strong correlation AND how correcting that can help prevent cancer. But instead she kept insisting for a mamo even though she clearly saw fluid filled cysts on the ultrasound. Are they going to magically turn into tumors just because its an x-ray? I get that its an additional screening tool and that they are trained to pressure ppl into them, but we had already established the main issue at hand and my tissue was also dense which makes a mamo less reliable to detect additional abnormalities. Perhaps an MRI would be a better fit for me. All that to say, I guess its not really the clinic itself thats problematic as much as the medical system in general and how it chooses to "treat" patients. Oh and the front desk person was loudly discussing my billing details in front of everyone in the lobby which I really did not like. On a lighter note, im grateful that they allowed me to get an ultrasound immediately without a referral. Now I have the information I need to seek more targeted care from a specialist.

Her husband, the Dr, allows this behavior to continue while he sits back and does nothing. You might not spot it right away, unless you look for the gigantic yellow letters that spell out "medical clinic". EXPERIENCE They have very friendly staff that cater to both English speaking and Chinese speaking clientele. Your first encounter with the office is likely to be with Jenny -- the friendly lady in the receptionist area. It's a small but well-appointed doctor's office. You'll get personalized customer service. I've found that Jenny recognizes me, even when I'm taking my daughters in for an appointment. My whole family (of 4) have all had separate appointments with Dr. Wu and agree that he's a very friendly and informative doctor. PRICE Dr Wu's office has a very reasonable pricing structure. I've found that the initial visit is around $120 or so, and subsequent visits can be lower in price. Be sure to ask any questions about insurance in advance, to avoid any surprises about the bill.
