The grounds were well maintained- staff and volunteers were at work each day, it felt like we were staying in the middle of a beautiful city park. Bathrooms were so nice. Clean, stocked, and well lit. The showers were free and easy to access but kept private with access codes for campers. We will definitely be back and are excited to explore more of Oregon state parks' yurts in other beautiful campgrounds.

Other playgrounds in the area seemed sketchy so we found this one and gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained it was. The playground is amazing and has so many different components to keep the kids occupied. FYI there is a $5 park fee and it's cash only. They should probably make the system an electronic system since many people don't carry cash anymore.

I played early July and almost all of the streams and ponds were dried up, but come spring, I could see this adding an extra layer of difficulty to this already extremely challenging course. All holes are very well marked and offer two tee boxes and two or 3 hole placements. Hole 13 in particular was the longest and the pin placement wasn't on the sign, it must have been an extra 250' past the long pin. There is an old dam/bridge/wall that has a bunch of cool graffiti on it adding to the ambiance of the course. Nice flowing river on the south end of the park. Overshoot 18 and your disc could roll down into the water and be toast! Costs $5 for a day pass, well worth the price of admission!

My favorite about this park, was the playground. I spent more time swinging with the youngest grandson, and watching him and his 8 years old playmate (friends since toddlers), and walking around to the nearest creek & bridge. It was a challenge finding parking but when we did, we excitedly walked to the park anticipating the enjoyment we would all have. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were greeted with multiple signs advising that the park does not allow dogs and encouraging people to walk their dogs around outside the park. We did that, as well as attempting one of the trail options but we have better options for that without driving here, hence the two stars. We also understand the necessity of not allowing dogs is specific locations so this review is for anyone researching because the Internet has told them this is a dog friendly place. It is not.

It replaces the original steel-truss bridge that had been here since 1950. One interesting fact is that the new bridge was built alongside the old one and when the old structure was demolished, this one was moved sideways into place at the same location It has one lane in each direction with a center lane and a pedestrian/bike lane. There is no toll to cross the bridge and on the side opposite from the Interstate highway next to Highway 99, there is a park with a boat launch and some benches. This park is about 1/2 a city block in size and just perfect for a neighborhood park. I like that the B-Ball and Tennis Courts are on the other side of the park ... cuts down on the noise but you still know when the game is on. The gazebo may be reserved for special occasions but I never do. I just take it over! A very well maintained park, the garbage cans are never overflowing, the bathrooms are clean and stocked, the grass cut at least once a week and watered every night between 11:30 - 1:00 a.m. The sound of sprinklers is not quite the same as the sound of the ocean but, I still fall asleep.

We came here with our two friends each of them having a little one strapped to their backs. Our dog Momo was also part of the group and she particularly loved this walk. At the time we were her in late spring (end of May), we were able to see still lots of wild flowers, but my friend mentioned that Renee were even more a few weeks earlier. The trails are mostly leading through forest area and so you're in the shade most of the time. We took a trail that led us to the peak and we were able to enjoy lovely views over the valley. Note: there's lots of poison oak here. If you have small kids with you, remind them to be vigilant.
