About two months ago, I received an unexpected visit from Child Protective Services (CPS) who…read morewanted to see my 2-year-old daughter. After a brief house call during which the caseworker observed our interaction, she assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that I was a good father. Little did I know, this was the beginning of a series of false allegations made by my daughter's mother. A month later, CPS contacted me to inform me they were requesting no visitation, without providing an explanation. I was told to speak with the CPS caseworker. When I finally did, I discovered that my daughter's mother had lied about the timeline of events regarding our daughter's custody. I was also shown a photo of a bruise that I had never seen in person. Two weeks later, the CPS case was closed as unfounded. However, a week after that, my daughter's mother accused me of sexually assaulting our daughter and used photos of diaper rash to obtain an immediate restraining order against me. She also attempted to modify the parenting plan to prevent me, my two other daughters, and my family from seeing my 2-year-old daughter.
