For my 10k she sent one letter to my employer, one letter to me that was belligerent, condescending, insensitive, and thoroughly unprofessional. Nothing was even initiated with the EEOC. I have requested a return of money which was completely ignored. I do believe most likely I still have a malpractice suit to pursue against her. I don't want to see anyone else be 'taken' by her. I'm quite sure all of us that has engaged with her are not wealthy individuals, I certainly am not and live on a fixed income. In my case she has taken advantage of a senior citizen. The reason people initially retain her services is the fact that the State of Indiana does not have a lot of competition in her specialty. Most law firms handle corporate law on the behalf of the corporation, not on the behalf of the employee or former employee. I'm quite surprised the Indiana Bar Association hasn't investigated her practice or perhaps they are currently. My initial mistake was not contacting them but this is about to change. Yes, I'm disgruntled and for good reason. I truly don't want to see others lose a lot of money for nothing that I couldn't have done myself. In this economy we must be prudent with our money. In the end Greg Shelley blamed my father and didn't even offer an apology. We were still charged thousands of dollars and my fathers Will was never implemented. Greg was always traveling out of the country and we were never able to reach him while my dad was actively dying and could still talk. I would avoid Bose if you love your family and you want it to remain intact. If this is how they treat their own law partners after death, they will have even less care for you. Bose Mckinney and Evans Estate lawyers are careless and lack integrity. When you are grieving you need someone trustworthy that cares about your family. Bose showed no care for my father and the 60 years he gave them. My family is now estranged and my fathers wishes died with him. This was my experience with Bose. I am aware that it is considered one of the best as my father was a partner there and did incredible work. We were able to move my moms estate from Bose to a smaller more personal law firm in Indianapolis and I wish I could have done the same for my father.
