I never complained to DJ Wilson about my dissatisfaction because let's be honest the party is done and over with what's the point? I did tell him about the Photo booth which in my opinion was a huge waste of money. The photographer for the photo booth was uninviting, rude and was unapologetic. He clearly did not want to be at a little girl birthday party. We were told that the photo booth package would include a USB card (it did) and a photo book with all the pictures. At the end of the evening when he was packing up he gave me this pathetic photo book. It held 6 pages of photos. I thought no problem, I have the USB card. Sadly when I got home all that was on the USB was 13 photos. What makes no sense is that my book had 20 individual photo's. Still not enough in my opinion for a party that lasted 4 hours. I even questioned the photo booth guy and he said my guest never came over. What??? Here is where the communication was lacking. Common sense, if you are standing there and no one is coming over to the photo booth, wouldn't you have voiced that to either me or the DJ? They could have made more announcements. I shared my dissatisfaction with the next day with DJ Wilson who promised to get to the bottom of this. I never heard back from him. I think the music was okay not great. Again, we can't redo what was done but I would recommend to anyone hiring Future Generations to be specific to your needs. I made assumptions that things would be handled. Also understand what you are receiving. Be specific - don't just list your 20 favorite songs be very specific about which songs you'd expect to hear. If you love 100 songs you better list them. He said list 20 songs then he would play those please others similar. Nope that's not what happened. He played those songs only and some of his own. On the upside DJ Wilson was professional, called us a few times prior to the party, arrived on time and was ready to work. He brought a plasma TV which had pictures of our daughter running throughout the evening. Unfortunately you literally had to stand on the dance floor to see it. Would I recommend Future Generations? No I would not. I think the lack of accountability for the poor service left a bitter taste.

I had a consultation call with Scott about a year before our wedding, on the call I immediately felt comfortable speaking with him about our vision, he just got it. Scott's experience in the industry shined through as he really listened to me and answered almost all of my questions before I even got a chance to ask them. Our winter wedding vibe was cozy, classic romance at David's Country Inn. With the restrictions at the time we had about half of our original guest list attend our wedding but Scott and his music warmed up the room and was the absolute perfect touch that we were looking for. One of my favorite moments from our wedding day was when my new husband and I stood alone on the balcony, looking down at our guests and during cocktail hour. I felt like my husband and I were floating in this perfect bubble and Scott's jazz trio will forever be the backdrop in this memory. As we got closer to the event Scott would occasionally touch base via text to confirm any last minute details. It was the perfect amount of communication in the final weeks for me. Scott was always professional and made the entire process from consultation, to booking, to confirming final details to execution. I found Andrew's website while browsing for photographers for my daughter's wedding. It was…read moreimmediately obvious that his pictures are in a different league from those of "wedding photographers": artistic without being artsy or pretentious, natural, perfectly composed, capturing all the emotion - each picture (of people who were strangers to me, no less) "moved" me. My daughter and son-in-law interviewed several other photographers, and quickly realized that Andrew was the one. He is a pleasure to work with and asked all the right questions of the bride and groom to find out what they were hoping for. On the wedding day Andrew had everything under control (even the things we didn't!). The posed pictures were fast and easy, and I noticed Andrew and his terrific assistant (also a great photographer in his own right) exactly once during the ceremony and reception - at the very end; they could have been watching TV in the bride's room and we wouldn't have known, they were that unobtrusive. So we have no idea how they managed to shoot hundreds of beautiful pictures, beyond any hopes or expectations, capturing every important moment and more throughout the day. Our only complaint is that each picture is so fabulous, it's going to be excruciating to do the selection for the albums. We had a longer engagement, and as soon as we met with Nick, we knew we had to hire him for our wedding, and ended up hiring him two years in advance. From the first point of contact, Nick was extremely responsive and helpful. We scheduled our engagement pictures, and, unfortunately, it ended up pouring the day of, however, Nick immediately had ideas of alternate indoor locations for the pictures. He also gave advice regarding what colors to wear for the pictures so they really worked well with the surroundings. The engagement photographs were absolutely stunning.
