So happy we found this company. The owner John was very professional. He had Tim call us and come out to the house to talk about what we wanted and needed done. He was really helpful giving us advise on which lights we should do for recess lighting, recommended how many in each room etc etc and even told us about a different light for the bathroom. John took my call on Friday, asked many good questions to avoid an unnecessary visit and made a call on Saturday after we couldn't resolve the issue. Was diligent and knowledgeable in trouble shooting a major problem with our electrical system, a disconnected ground wire in our electrical panel which caused several lights and appliances to not work properly. Love this company! I called Monday -- only in town for a brief time and needed three ceiling fans in three bedrooms and a kitchen chandelier installed. On top of that work, a prong to the washing machine had broken off into the electric socket. When I called Monday, Mr. Johnson personally answered the phone and within minutes had me scheduled with his technician for 8am Tuesday morning. Tim--the technician--was amazing. He arrived early and immediately got to work. Within three hours everything was complete. He had LED light bulbs for the kitchen chandelier. He had an excellent, sturdy replacement plug for the washer. He even advised me to get extension chains for the fans so that speed and lighting could be easily adjusted. Requested a quote and was very responsive for setting up time to meet with me to discuss power house upgrade project and would I need it, and how much. After running several calculations, we found out I did not need the upgrade for the pool equipment and heater. This is very honest of a company. Several other companies and 'electricians' came out and wanted * **$3500-$5000 ** to upgrade, without even running the numbers to see if I actually needed a 200 amp upgrade. It is not often that you find a business with this level of integrity. John and his team are very passionate about their level of quality. I had an issue that another thumbtack company misdiagnosed. This was after FPL misdiagnosed the same issue. John's team discovered the true issue only about 20 minutes into the job. I completely trusted them and knew the project was in good hands. Based on these glowing reviews, I recently made an appointment to have a few simple electrical issues resolved at my home -- troubleshooting ceiling fan and a garbage disposal wiring. On the day of my initial appointment, I contacted the tech 20 minutes past the agreed upon time (8am) and was told he had an unexpected big job pop up....no biggie, I work from home, we pushed to the afternoon. At 5:15pm I reached out to him once again after hearing nothing all day. He asked to come by the next day, which I agreed to. The next day came and went and here we are a week later, never hearing from him or the organization since. I wasn't going to initiate the conversation a third time in a row. Obviously I can't comment on their work aptitude; however I'm guessing it's good...but you've got to show up for me to know that. read more
