She will get down on the floor, climb ladders and practically do the splits to get the perfect shot. All of this while being practically invisible during key moments. My mother had terminal cancer, and this would be her last big event -- Mrs. G. captured her essence, happiness and emotion in such an amazing way. Not only did she do a great job on the posed pictures, her candids were all very unique, spontaneous and perfect for the occasion. From the first moment we emailed/Skyped, it was like she just "got" my (then fiancé) husband and I. Courtney is out of Fort Wayne, and our wedding was in Indianapolis - but that didn't matter at all! Courtney came to Indy a few weeks before our wedding and we walked the venue and blocks around it (in 20-degree weather!) to determine exactly where we wanted shots, where to avoid, etc. Courtney was there for the rehearsal, through the entire day of the wedding and stayed through the later part of the reception. She made sure to capture what we wanted but also had super creative ideas that she directed us into for the best pictures. Her turnaround time is super quick too - our wedding was just before Mother's Day and she had no problem editing a few family shots in time for us to give them as gifts. We received all of our photos (in the CUTEST package in the mail) in less than three weeks after the wedding, which is unheard of! Courtney's photos are beautiful. She has a great eye when it comes to lighting and always had a great idea of how the image will come together. She was not only able to accommodate my needs, but she was also extremely flexible to work with me as her client. She arrived early to a location she had recommended (she had many ideas!) and was ready to begin working with me. During the photo shoot, she was calm - extremely easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable with the poses I did and the ones she suggested. After the shoot, Courtney followed up promptly. Her system of sharing images was very easy to use. I knew from the moment we said goodbye I wanted to work with her again. She was able to capture my emotions in each image, take shots from different points of view that were so incredibly creative and to most importantly make me feel comfortable. FINAL UPDATE - As…read morementioned to Suzanne I have no interest in continuing to banter back and forth as its getting us nowhere close to a remedy. Also, I would have NEVER waited 5 years before trying to reach out to her, so I'm confused as to why she continues to deny the fact that I sent her two emails immediately following our ceremony. If you review our pictures versus her other work, Stevie Wonder could see that the quality (lighting & clarity) was horrible. Suzanne stated that she is a professional and has been in business for many years, so why didn't she acclimate to the conditions of the church and/or rainy day? Quite simply I was requesting either a refund or the raw photos so my husband could see if he could modify at least a few photographs from our special day. Again, Suzanne doesn't seem interested in rectifying this situation hence my reasoning for continuing to stand behind my initial review. Finally, I say if you are hiring Suzanne to take your photographs for any special occasion proceed with caution if the conditions provided aren't perfect as she doesn't seem to be capable of acclimating (i.e. weather, lighting, clarity).
