With the refurbishments and extension of the store due to complete early next year it will onyl become bigger and better. It stocks everythig you cold possibly need, and then some, and has a growing section of household goods and clothing too. The service is usually very good with friendly, caring staff. All in all this makes supermarket shopping quite a pleasant experience!

Frankly, I would suggest that they haven't got enough stock items to fill the huge amount of space available. The Worthing branch appears to be better stocked, laid out and far more efficient. The toilets are immaculate and well kept. There seems to be a problem with staffing the tills to enable speedy payment and exit. Today I counted 9 staff flitting about near the tills, and only 1 till operating with 8 customers waiting.......tut tut..!! Upstairs houses Dee Dee's tea/coffee shop, again loads of staff but only one person serving and 5 waiting customers...double tut tut..!! An ok store,

It has been allowed to fall into serious disrepair. Chichester itself was both a Roman and an Anglo Saxon settlement and from then to now remains a compact and pretty market town. M&S like many other centre stores have front facades that are in keeping with its historic buildings and for that the city and the locals benefit. I'm an M&S fan. I have been for a lifetime. I trust them and have for a lifetime. We picked up some snacks for later with some of their excellent rosè wine: honey roasted cashew nuts, as they are so bloody lovely, crisp coated barbecue peanuts and delightful Spanish chorizo 'crisps'. We would normally go for the after 3pm deal of coffee and cake but we had cream teas at 2pm in one of the city's quirky independents so not M&S on this rare occasion.

Its dangerously close to the other shop so i can see me spending all my wages in here. They have so many nice dresses to choose from and its better now that there is more room to see all the different styles they have on offer. I hope they will do really well with all the proms next year. I've already decided i'll be getting my Christmas ball dress from here, if i can decide which one. This shop is a must visit as the owners are really lovely and always help me find something amazing to wear. Will definitely be telling all my friends.
