Delayed the construction process 8 weeks. Still owes us our money back. Took him to civil court; he never should up. Not getting our money back. Check the courthouse records; he has several judgements against him and same thing is happening to others.

Statute 1-50, (a), (5) a. which states "No action to recover damages based upon or arising out of the defective or unsafe condition of an improvement to real property shall be brought more than six years from the later of the specific last act or omission of the defendant giving rise to the cause of action or substantial completion of the improvement." and the case was dismissed. So to get the case dismissed the business needed to cite a statute that is expressly covering "defective or unsafe condition of an improvement to real property." For the statute to hold water (pun intended), there would need to be a tacit admission of "defective or unsafe condition of an improvement to real property." Read contracts carefully before working with this company.
