This company claims to be experts in fire, water, and smoke restoration. Due to the lack of and short cut taking they cost my insurance company almost 400k to restore my home which was a ridiculous amount for the amount of damage that TriCo claimed. I had to have other companies come behind them and fix things that Tri-Co was not capable of completing and or fixing correctly. They used lesser quality materials and installed items I did not want or ask to have in my home. And on top of this amount, they wanted me to use the replaceable content $ to pay for some of the work. Greed, greed, greed. So sad. Clint Pressley attempted to advantage of my vulnerability while he is married. Chad and his crew smoked marijuana on my property while on the job. I have so many rude text messages and conversation recordings to back this. Not sure if the insurance man was in on this robbery with these guys, but he would side in with them when I called him for support. Very, very sad. I decided to complete a review upon my last text message to them about two outlets that have not been properly installed and a continued leaking issue in basement where the company cut through my brick and did not patch the area afterwards. Jeff the contractor hates to take responsibility for his choices and companies that he works with, I say this due to his arguments when I would address things such as what I have written about and so many more of a yearlong problem I called 58 Foundations and Waterproofing to assist in the water leaking that TRi-Co's team left unresolved.

Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

Previous plumber told us our clogging issues were due to putting eggshells in the garbage disposal When actually there was a huge crack in the line with root intrusion. The crack was very close to where the previous company installed a cleanout. Not sure how they missed it. Go Green quickly diagnosed the issue, cleared the line then came back to replace the line within a couple of days. They worked around our landscaping as much as possible and even planted new grass seed, and laid straw to cover where the trench was dug. Workmen were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Today one of the techinicans--Tucker--visited the property twice, including once with the owner of the company, to help me identify both obvious and easy to overlook, areas of concern that would otherwise be very hard to detect. Meeting with Tucker and Luke today made me feel much more at ease. I'm very confident that if something unexpected comes up before the permanent repairs occur, they'll be on top of it. I can't tell you how impressed I have been over the past couple days with their communication/responsiveness, attention to my issue, respect for my home, and their overall service, including making temporary repairs until the permanent repairs can take place next week. If I call or text them, they either answer the phone or return my message within 10-15 minutes. I'm sure this a small job for them in terms of profit, but it's a big deal to me, and they have treated it that way, and I am very thankful for that.

I had a major issue with a sliding glass door that was not installed properly and therefore could not be removed without extreme force to replace the rollers. 3 companies and handyman came out and and said it couldn't be done without replacing the entire door. Well, Mr Rennie came out exactly on time and didn't give up. He was determined and never got upset. Stayed happy and very determined! With a minor bit of push/pull help from me, it came out in 51 minutes with zero unexpected and approved damages. He then went and matched up the rollers and came right back. He then secured the frame and leveled it and squared it up. Installed the new rollers and slid the door right back in with zero issues. Works as good or better than new now! Thank you Mr Rennie for your awesome talent and work, and Mrs Rennie for prompt and proper scheduling and updates. 100 star service!!! Thank You again! read more

One other handyman had looked at this for me, but their solution didn't hold up, so i was in search of a permanent fix. I have grown fond of using Yelp's "request a quote tool" to easily put out a project request to several businesses that serve my area, and find it very easy to communicate and get quotes in this manner. Unfortunately for the tool, but fortunately for me, I may not need to request a quote again for awhile, because I am just going to hiring Chris and Chase at Carolina Custom Home Improvements to do any work I have moving forward! Chris got back to me within an hour of my quote request, with which I also submitted a pair of photos of the damage. He took a guess at the issue, provided two likely solutions, a price quote based on what we could see in the photos, and was able to come do the work within just a few days. I appreciated the direct manner he answered, and his sense of urgency. On arrival, him and Chase were easy to talk with, and got right to work diagnosing the issue. Due to some cracking on the siding, they would need to replace some of it to permanently fix things. They also noticed some other damaged siding, offering to fix that while they were at it. I agreed, and they set to work calling suppliers. They were able to not only find the same manufacturer, but the correct color! Obviously, the new siding is not faded, so you can tell it's new, but that is totally expected. Once they obtained the materials (with no markup, giving me the receipt directly) they set to work. This siding is 25 feet in the air, and a hard job on a long ladder. They got it done in around 90 minutes. It fits flush and looks great, see my photos. The job site was left clean, and they even tamped down the holes in the soil made by the ladder and their feet on the soft ground. I'm happy to use them again in the future based on this work, and they are knowledgeable on several subjects. They'll at least be my first call. They serve both the eastern Triad and the western Triangle areas (based in Burlington). Thanks Chris and Chase!
