We advise and represent people seeking their benefits and rights under trusts, estates, retirement, disability and health benefit plans, and as co-owners of corporations, partnerships and LLCs. We also advise others in serving as the trustees, directors, officers, administrators, managers and executors 'navigate' their duties and responsibilities. We also assist divorcing individuals and their attorneys with respect to QDROs and other specialty orders to divide retirement benefits.
History
Established in 1998.
John has worked as an attorney since graduating law school in 1983, including two law firms, as a large corporation's employee benefits manager and on his own. John has practiced on his own for more than 20 years, serving clients across southern Idaho.
Meet the Business Owner: John S.
John earned both the basic law degree (juris doctorate) and advanced tax law degree (legum magisterium), and has authored numerous articles, many in national legal publications, on topics central to his practice. He brings this expertise to bear when helping people resolve conflicts with others over businesses, estates/trusts and employee benefits issues--and when writing QDROs for an individual wrapping up his or her divorce.
